    Abstract: A recording apparatus which reduces consumption of ink by preventing unnecessary recovery operation during a printing job by an ink-jet method. First, the recording apparatus detects whether a recording mode is a black and white printing mode or color printing mode. Second, if the printing mode is the black and white printing mode, then the image recording is performed by using only nozzles for K(black), as well as an idle discharge operation is performed only on the nozzles for K. Whereas if the color printing mode is detected, then the image recording is performed by using all the nozzles for C(cyan), M(magenta), Y(yellow), and K(black), as well as the idle discharge operation is performed on all the nozzles.

The holding jig and the movable jig have teeth for forcibly expanding the cylindrical member radially outwardly to a diameter greater than the diameter of the rotor.

Adjacent to the surface, at least two electrical connectors are disposed, including a first connector rotatably supported by the body which is rotatable between a first position and a second position. The selected portable computer may be electrically connected to the number of electrical components via only the first electrical connector when the first electrical connector is in the first position and may be electrically connected to the number of electronic components via only the second electrical connector when the first electrical connector is in the second position.

    Abstract: A method of and an apparatus for automatically removing deposits such as resin materials adhering to an injection head. According to the method, a liquid reactive resin is poured into a molding cavity internally defined in a mold assembly from an injection head through an injection hole. Then, an automatic cutting device is displaced toward the injection head separated from the injection hole after the reactive resin poured into the molding cavity has been hardened. Thereafter, the automatic cutting device is activated to cut unnecessary hardened resin materials adhering to the injection head. Thus, the hardened resin materials can reliably be removed without subjecting the injection head to damage. It is also possible to effectively prevent the reactive resin from adhering to the injection head when the next molding process is carried out.

First, one gasket is separated at a time from a vertically suspended stack of gaskets, and then the shape of the separated gasket is corrected by tensioning the gasket radially outwardly in engagement with the inner surface of four corners thereof.     Abstract: A motorcycle being assembled on an assembly line is transferred from a first line to a second line by gripping and lifting a front wheel of the motorcycle up to a prescribed height to support the motorcycle only through a rear wheel thereof, moving the motorcycle from the first line to the second line while rolling the rear wheel, clamping the rear wheel, and thereafter lowering the front wheel to move the motorcycle along the second line. The motorcycle can automatically be transferred reliably and efficiently, and various motorcycles of different types can easily be transferred by a single apparatus by only gripping front wheels thereof.
