  • Publication number: 20010020964
Abstract: To provide an ink jet image forming method and an ink jet image forming device capable of forming an image of superior quality by using quickly drying ink and slowly drying ink in combination, wherein deviation which may occur in a discharge position of ink causes no reduction in the resolution of the image, black ink is adopted as the slowly drying ink, and so is white ink as one of the quickly drying ink. A white dot is formed with the white ink in a position to form a black dot on white recording paper, thereafter applying the black ink thereto. Deviation which may occur in the discharge position of the quickly drying white ink on the recording paper thus becomes almost visually unnoticeable.

  • Publication number: 20010019229
Abstract: In a state that a wafer stage is not positioned in the center of the Y-direction traveling range, thrusts Fa, Fb supplied from a pair of linear motors to a Y-direction stage are made different and the Y-direction stage is moved in the X direction so that moments Ma, Mb about the centroid of the Y-direction stage by the thrusts Fa, Fb cancel each other. Since the moments Ma, Mb about the centroid generated by the thrusts cancel each other and the thrusts do not act as forces for rotating the Y-direction stage, the Y-direction stage is not deflected in a yawing direction. Such a stage device as constructed above can prevent deflection in a yawing direction due to displacement of the centroid position of an object to be positioned or a stage and precisely move the object to be positioned to a target position.

  • Patent number: 6196946
Abstract: A power roller of a power roller bearing in a half-toroidal type continuously variable transmission is manufactured as follows. In step S1, a work used as material is heated up to a temperature suitable for forging. In step S2, the work is pressed by using a first die set, with its end face being held. In step S3, the work is forged by using a second die set. The work is formed into a work having a curved face corresponding to a traction surface, a hole corresponding to a center hole, and a recess corresponding to a raceway groove. In step S4, the work is punched by using a third die set. In step S5, the work is subjected to a cutting process and a heating process, thereby obtaining the power roller.

  • Patent number: 6083588
Abstract: A heat-resistant sheet is provided between a fusing roller and a pressing member made of a resilient material. The heat-resistant sheet is composed of a glass fiber substrate coated with or impregnating a fluororesin having good mold lubrication and heat-resistance, such as PFA and PTFE. A paper having a pre-fused toner image is carried through a section between the fusing roller and heat-resistant sheet. Accordingly, wear or separation of the heat-resistant sheet caused by friction with the fusing roller can be prevented, thereby improving durability of the heat-resistant sheet.

  • Patent number: 5575171
Abstract: A process is provided for the production of a webbing take-up spindle by cold-forming of a cylindrical blank. The cylindrical blank is cold-formed into a preform having a flange-shaped disc portion and a spindle portion extending from and in continuation with said disc portion. Wedge action dies, whose pressing portions are in the form of ratchet teeth, are pressed against an upper and lower sides of an outer peripheral portion of the disc portion, respectively, so that ratchet teeth are partially formed and a thin-walled portion is also formed circumferentially along said partially-formed ratchet teeth. The thin-walled portion is then punched to fully form the ratchet teeth. A forming apparatus suitable for use in the practice of the process is also disclosed.
