  • Publication number: 20040056776
Abstract: Provided is a remote control system capable of preventing a key code from being deciphered when the key code is transmitted from a transmitter to a receiver to be registered. In the transmitter, in response to a specified switch operation, a k-th common key code in a table to be used for enciphering a key code is changed to a registration key code stored in advance so that a key code is enciphered through the use of the table including the registration key code. A transmission code is produced by adding a predetermined code to the enciphered key code and the transmission code signal is transmitted to the receiver. This prevents easy deciphering of the key code because the key code is transmitted in a state enciphered.

  • Patent number: 6699018
Abstract: A micro pump member is provided, in which a plurality of cells formed in a base part are used as pressurizing chambers, and side walls forming the pressurizing chambers are constructed by piezoelectric/electrostrictive elements. The volume of the pressurizing chambers is changed by the displacement of the piezoelectric/electrostrictive elements to produce a pressure in the pressurizing chambers. The pressurizing chambers are formed independent of adjacent pressurizing chambers. Activation can be carried out by applying a driving electric field having a high field strength to the pressurizing chambers, so that a greater displacement and a higher response can be obtained with a smaller field strength.

  • Patent number: 6633620
Abstract: In a data receiver, pulse edges are sequentially detected from the pulse string. If a pulse which has a width equal to two cycles of the reference clock signals is detected, bit data ‘1’ is restored. If two consecutive pulses each of which has a width equal to one cycle are detected, bit data ‘0’ is restored. If a pulse width between two consecutive pulse edges is not equal to one cycle or two cycles, it is presumed that a pulse edge of an erroneous pulse is detected. If the pulse width between the pulse edge, which is presumed to correspond to the erroneous pulse, and the next pulse edge is equal to or shorter than a predetermined threshold Th, the pulse edge and the next pulse edge is invalidated.

Abstract: A method of forming a plurality of holes of fine diameter d in a brittle material at fine intervals &agr; includes the steps of forming at least two holes having a fine diameter d at intervals A in the brittle material through the use of punches. The intervals A are at least two times the fine interval &agr;. Holes are then subsequently punched between the previously punched holes at intervals A without removing the die punches used to form the previous holes. The distances between the previously punched holes and the subsequently punched holes measure at least the distance corresponding to the fine interval &agr;.

  • Publication number: 20030090637
Abstract: In a color printer having plural photosensitive drums for respective recording color components, when images are continuously formed on recording sheets, lengths of image data of one page in its main scan direction and its sub scan direction are held for plural pages. Then, image data writing and reading addresses to and from a delay memory for delaying the image data according to an inter-drum distance are controlled for each page on the basis of the held lengths of the image data in its main scan direction and its sub scan direction, whereby an interval between the successively transported recording sheets is shortened.
