  • Patent number: 7224481
Abstract: In a color printer having plural photosensitive drums for respective recording color components, when images are continuously formed on recording sheets, lengths of image data of one page in its main scan direction and its sub scan direction are held for plural pages. Then, image data writing and reading addresses to and from a delay memory for delaying the image data according to an inter-drum distance are controlled for each page on the basis of the held lengths of the image data in its main scan direction and its sub scan direction, whereby an interval between the successively transported recording sheets is shortened.

  • Publication number: 20070113972
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a flexible laminate substrate having an improved appearance and dimensional stability after removal of a metal foil. Specifically disclosed is a method of manufacturing a flexible laminate substrate 5 wherein a metal foil 2 is bonded to at least one surface of a heat-resistant adhesive film 3. The method comprises a step wherein the heat-resistant adhesive film 3 and the metal foil 2 are thermally laminated between a pair of metal rolls 4 via a protective film 1, thereby forming a laminate 7 wherein the heat-resistant adhesive film 3, the metal foil 2, and the protective film 1 are bonded together, and another step wherein the protective film 1 is removed. The tension of the laminate 7 at the time when the protective film 1 is removed is higher than the tension of the laminate 7 before the removal of the protective film 1.

  • Patent number: 7202777
Abstract: A tire condition monitoring system is composed of a detector installed in each tire, a transmitter positioned in the vicinity of each tire, and a monitor communicating with the transmitters and the detectors. An initiation signal for initiating operation of the detector is wirelessly sent from the transmitter to the detector, using a low frequency, and the pressure and temperature data detected by the detector are wirelessly sent to the monitor, using a radio frequency. A vehicle identification code differentiating the vehicle from other vehicles may be included in the initiation signal to avoid confusion with signals wirelessly sent from other vehicles. The detector is operated only when the tire condition data from that detector are required to minimize power consumption in the detector.

  • Publication number: 20070028191
Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed that can scroll a display screen displayed by means a display apparatus thereon in line units as well as in page units by means of operating only the up and down cursor keys. With this electronic device, a mode setting means sets a page scroll mode in order to scroll the display screen by page units if a predetermined operation is performed with at least one of either the up cursor key or the down cursor key. A determination means determines whether or not the page scroll mode has been set when only one of either the up cursor key or the down cursor key has been operated. A scrolling means both scrolls the display screen in page units in the direction of the up cursor key or down cursor key that was operated if the determination means determines that the page scroll mode has been set, and resets the page scroll mode.

  • Patent number: 7142717
Abstract: By smoothing a full-color image, staircasing of characters even in a gradation image is removed. An area to be smoothed is detected from image data having a plurality of color components, and image data included in the detected area is smoothed in units of color components. Image data which places an importance on resolution is smoothed by increasing the resolution to reproduce smooth characters and figures. Image data which places an importance on gradation characteristic is output without increasing the resolution, thus attaining high-gradation recording. A character or figure is detected from bitmap image data input from external equipment, and is smoothed. In correspondence with the density of the smoothed image data, the pulse width is switched, thereby changing the resolution of image data.

  • Patent number: 7129816
Abstract: Provided is a remote control system capable of preventing a key code from being deciphered when the key code is transmitted from a transmitter to a receiver to be registered. In the transmitter, in response to a specified switch operation, a k-th common key code in a table to be used for enciphering a key code is changed to a registration key code stored in advance so that a key code is enciphered through the use of the table including the registration key code. A transmission code is produced by adding a predetermined code to the enciphered key code and the transmission code signal is transmitted to the receiver. This prevents easy deciphering of the key code because the key code is transmitted in a state enciphered.

  • Publication number: 20060054262
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a heat resistant flexible laminate effectively enabling avoidance of not only visual defects but occurrence of dimensional changes, and a heat resistant flexible laminate are provided. In a process for laminating a heat resistant adhesive material and a metallic foil by thermal lamination, a film-like protective material is disposed between a pressurized surface and the metallic foil at the time of thermal lamination. At this time, coefficients of linear expansion in a temperature range of 200 degree C. to 300 degree C. of the heat resistant adhesive material and the protective material are within a range of a coefficient of linear expansion of the metallic foil ±10 ppm/degrees C. Thereby, occurrence of visual defects is not only effectively avoidable, but excellent dimensional change after etching may be exhibited.
