  • Patent number: 9561049
Abstract: A fluid ejection device includes a fluid accommodation portion having an outlet and a fluid pressing unit that causes the fluid to flow out of the fluid outlet through a channel. A fluid ejection unit ejects in a pulsed manner the fluid received from a fluid intake port connected to the channel. A pressure detection unit detects an inner pressure of the fluid accommodation portion. A press control unit controls the inner pressure of the fluid accommodation portion to approach a target pressure value when the channel is closed. A channel determination unit determines that the channel is not closed if a detected movement speed of the fluid pressing unit is a predetermined speed or greater when a predetermined amount of time has elapsed after a difference between the inner pressure of the fluid accommodation portion and the target pressure value becomes less than a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 9250641
Abstract: A load driving circuit that generates a desired voltage waveform to drive a load includes a target voltage waveform output section that outputs a target voltage waveform to be applied to the load. Power supply sections generate electrical power with voltage values different from each other. Negative feedback control sections between the power supply sections and the load supply electrical power from the corresponding power supply sections to the load and execute negative feedback control of a value of a voltage applied to the load for matching the voltage value and the target voltage waveform. A power supply connection section selects one of the power supply sections based on the value of the voltage applied to the load or the voltage value of the target voltage waveform and connects the selected power supply section to the load and disconnects the rest of the power supply sections from the load.

  • Patent number: 9198904
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for oral administration comprising a modified release portion containing tamsulosin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and an immediate release portion containing solifenacin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a hydrophilic substance. In the pharmaceutical composition, the dissolution rate of each drug (in particular, solifenacin contained in the immediate release portion) is similar to those of the current single drug formulations, and the maximum percentage of drag dissolution of each drug (in particular, solifenacin contained in the immediate release portion) is 90% or more. Therefore, the pharmaceutical composition is a single formulation (i.e., a combined formulation) with a bioavailability equivalent to those of the current single drug formulations.
