  • Publication number: 20030119560
Abstract: A plurality of cellular base stations BS (BS1, BS2, BS3), a pager base station 13k, and a plurality of groups G1, G2, G3, G4, and G5 of portable communication terminals are provided in one pager communication system area Ak. Each of the portable communication terminals includes a cellular radio unit and a pager receiver. In each group, a plurality of portable communication terminals 1 are included, and use the same telephone line. Cellular radio units of portable communication terminals use a same telephone line, and the pager receivers use a same pager communication line. The portable communication terminals 1 have IDs different from each other. When any one of the portable communication terminals 1 starts communication, location information of the portable communication terminal is registered in a VLR. Moreover, when another portable communication terminal 1 in the same group intends to start communication, location registration thereof is rejected.

  • Publication number: 20030078056
Abstract: A mobile communication terminal (101 to 10N) can obtain a plurality of communication services MS1 to MSn and sends an identification code unique to itself when making an outgoing call. Databases DB1 to DBn are provided for the plurality of mobile communication terminals MS1 to MSn, and when the mobile communication terminal (101 to 10N) makes an outgoing call, they acquire the unique identification code for specifying the mobile communication terminal (101 to 10N), and store billing information on the mobile communication terminal (101 to 10N) in association with the identification code. A billing server TDB classifies the billing information stored in all of the databases DB1 to DBn by each mobile communication terminal (101 to 10N) based on the identification code to generate billing information on each user.

  • Publication number: 20030021418
Abstract: First, a terminal device (1) transmits a connection request to a server device (2) (step S1). When receiving this connection request, the server device (2) selects a single piece of cipher key data (71) from a cipher key data set (62) corresponding to the terminal device 1 (step S2), and transmits a key identifier (72) of the selected cipher key data (71) to the terminal device (1) (step S3). When receiving the key identifier (72), the terminal device (1) reads a key identifier (52) identical with the key identifier (72) from key list data (21), enciphers the received key identifier (72) with cipher key data (51) corresponding thereto (step S4), and transmits it to the server device (2) (step S5). When receiving the enciphered key identifier (72), the server device (2) deciphers it (step S6), and compares the deciphered key identifier (72) and the key identifier (72) of the cipher key data selected before(step S7).

  • Publication number: 20020077981
Abstract: For transmitting transmission data generated by a transmission data generator of a communication terminal device, a packet unit determining unit 17 determines a packet unit for a lowest data communication rate for the transmission of the transmission data, among packet units (packet sizes) that can be recognized by a destination communication terminal device and that can be transmitted from the communication terminal device. A packet generator 18 packetizes the transmission data according to the packet unit determined by the packet unit determining unit 17, and transmits the packetized transmission data to the destination communication terminal device.
