  • Publication number: 20090130335
Abstract: A method for performing plasma doping which is high in uniformity. A prescribed gas is introduced into a vacuum container from gas supply apparatus while being exhausted through an exhaust hole by a turbomolecular pump as an exhaust apparatus. The pressure in the vacuum container is kept at a prescribed value by a pressure regulating valve. High-frequency power of 13.56 MHz is supplied from a high-frequency power source to a coil which is disposed close to a dielectric window which is opposed to a sample electrode, whereby induction-coupled plasma is generated in the vacuum container. The dielectric window is composed of plural dielectric plates, and grooves are formed in at least one surface of at least two dielectric plates opposed to each other. Gas passages are formed by the grooves and a flat surface(s) opposed to the grooves, and gas flow-out holes which are formed in the dielectric plate that is closest to the sample electrode communicate with the grooves inside the dielectric window.

  • Publication number: 20090014916
Abstract: The present invention aims to produce a three-dimensional structure having a high aspect ratio by using inkjet printing techniques or the like. Specifically, a three-dimensional structure is produced by ejecting a liquid drop of a solution, which contains a solvent and polymer particles dispersed in the solvent while having a viscosity of not more than 100 cps, from a nozzle onto a substrate; then evaporating the solvent and melting the polymer particles by irradiating the liquid drop with light; and then depositing the molten polymer particles on the substrate. The present invention can be applied to production of biochips and the like.

  • Patent number: 5309933
Abstract: There is disclosed a one-hand openable and closable umbrella which does not cause relative rotational movement and displacement between an inner shaft and an outer shaft. The inner shaft has a U-shaped groove extending in the lengthwise direction thereof and the outer shaft has a convex block provided inside a lower nest mounted on the top of the outer shaft. By the engagement of the convex block of the outer shaft with the U-shaped groove of the inner shaft, the inner and outer shaft neither turn nor displace relative to each other when the latter slides on the latter. Moreover, since a plastic sleeve is put on the upper end portion of the inner shaft inside a spring mounted thereon, any frictional force between the spring and the inner shaft and between the spring and an upper nest can be decreased, by which the umbrella can be smoothly opened and closed.
