  • Patent number: 5394354
Abstract: Each of two bit lines in a pairing relationship and a word line transition detection signal line bear the same adjunctive capacitance, since connection points provided on plural memory cells establishing connections to each of the bit lines and connection points provided on plural word line transition detection circuits establishing connections to the word line transition detection signal line are laid out into the same form. Each of the memory cells contains a data storage, a first N-channel MOS transistor, and a second N-channel MOS transistor, the data storage being connected to the bit lines through the first and second N-channel MOS transistors. Each of the word line transition detection circuits includes a third N-channel MOS transistor and a fourth N-channel transistor, these transistors being sandwiched between the word line transition detection signal line and the ground.

  • Patent number: 5129233
Abstract: A control system for use in an air conditioner including a room heat-exchanger and an outside heat-exchanger. For controlling the room temperature, the control system sets a plurality of cooling start temperatures and a plurality of heating start temperatures and compares the room temperature, sensed by a temperature sensor, with the plurality of cooling start temperature and the plurality of heating start temperatures so as to control the outside heat-exchanger in accordance with the comparison results. The plurality of cooling or heating start temperatures includes a first cooling or heating start temperature and a second cooling or heating start temperature lower or higher than the first cooling start temperature. The control system first performs the temperature control on the basis of the first cooling or heating start temperature and then controls it on the basis of the second cooling or heating start temperature under predetermined conditions.

  • Patent number: 5003324
Abstract: The present invention has an electrode for energization use of a thermal head having an unprecedentedly new electrode construction of a full peripherally surrounding type, so that one heating portion corresponds to one individual electrode without separation or independence of a heating resistor. Thus, the heating efficiency in the printing operation is improved to increase the thermal response property, thus making it possible to save the power. Furthermore, the full periphery surrounding electrode portion is adapted to be completely covered by the heating resistor to remove the dispersion of the resistance values of each dot responsible for the dispersion of the printing width of the heating resistor, and to completely provide uniformity by an energization overload trimming system.

  • Patent number: 4925436
Abstract: For preventing very small amplitude vibrations of the rod in a tensioner during high speed movement of a belt to be tensioned by the tensioner, a tube which is connected to a plunger which moves together with the rod is overlapped with a stationary member so as to define an annular clearance therebetween in an operating chamber of the tensioner. By filling an operating fluid in the clearance, shear strain is generated upon high speed movement of the plunger, which resists movement of the plunger.

  • Patent number: 4695268
Abstract: An automatic tensioner for adjusting the tension in a timing belt, V belt, or the like has a locking mechanism. The tensioner has a plunger always biased toward a large oil chamber containing oil. A rod having a head that is pressed against the timing belt or the like is inserted in the body of the tensioner so as to form a small oil chamber. A piston is received in the body of the tensioner. Normally, the piston bears against the plunger. If oil should leak from the large oil chamber, then the plunger will move downward, permitting the piston to engage the rod. Thus, the rod is locked.
