Each of the tongues and the peripheral region of the incised hole are pressed together while being enfolded by the grommet metal fittings being depress-deformed through a suitable means, thereby leading to reliably and strongly setting of the grommet metal fittings and increasing the tensile strength of the eye hole for roping.
