  • Patent number: 8442419
Abstract: In full-color printing, one of first and second rotary members is activated with a time lag after the other of the first and second rotary members is activated such that the phase difference between the first and second rotary members is an adjusted phase difference. In addition, every time monochrome printing is performed, the time lag is changed.

  • Publication number: 20110242551
Abstract: An image forming apparatus that reduces the downtime due to image density control is provided. To accomplish this, the image forming apparatus obtains, using a sensor, background data at a plurality of measurement positions from a rotation member, and density data at a plurality of measurement positions from a patch image formed on the rotation member. Further, the image forming apparatus normalizes density data based on first background data and calculates first correction density data, and also normalizes density data based on second background data for which the measurement positions have been shifted from those of the first background data, calculates second correction density data, and acquires corrected density data in accordance with the first correction density data or the second correction density data that has a smaller variation.

  • Publication number: 20090296147
Abstract: There is provided an image forming apparatus which shortens the time taken for circumference detection and measures the circumference at high precision without obstructing downsizing of the apparatus. To accomplish this, the image forming apparatus detects, at an arbitrary timing, the physical pattern of the image-formed surface of a rotation member that changes over time. In the second round, the image forming apparatus detects the second pattern at a timing a predetermined time after the arbitrary timing. By using the detected patterns, the image forming apparatus obtains information associated with the circumference of the rotation member.

  • Patent number: 7124858
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a brake apparatus which can facilitate slope starting and slope climbing and which can be produced small in size and light in weight. In addition, another object of the invention is to provide a brake apparatus which can obtain a stable brake force under any conditions including running in the rain. The invention provides a brake apparatus in which a restriction is imposed on the rotation of a wheel (101) via a brake drum (3) provided on a rotational shaft of the wheel (101) so as to rotate together with the rotational shaft, the brake apparatus being characterized by comprising a brake shoe (30) for imposing a restriction on the rotation of the brake drum (3) in a forward or backward direction through wedge engagement with an inner circumferential surface of the brake drum (3) when the brake drum (3) rotates either in the forward direction or in the backward.

  • Patent number: 7109971
Abstract: A joystick includes an operating member, which has shaft portions respectively protruded from both side faces thereof, an upper rotary member, which supports the operating member so as to be pivotable in a first direction, a lower rotary member, which supports the operating member so as to be pivotable in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and an urging member, which urges the lower rotary member and the upper rotary member so that the operating member is situated at a neutral position thereof. The lower rotary member has an elongated hole through which the operating member is passed, and the elongated hole extended in the first direction. The shaft portions are rotatably engaged in shaft holes which are formed in side walls of the elongated hole. Expansion parts are formed on the operating member so as to expand within the elongated hole in the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20050000755
Abstract: An operating apparatus 1100 of a brake apparatus 1001 for restricting rotation of a brake drum 1003 including an operating lever 1112 and an operation restricting portion 1120 is provided. The operating lever 1112 is supported to be able to operate in a movable range. The movable range includes: a brake release mode permitting rotation of the brake drum 1003 both in regular rotation and reverse rotation; and an auxiliary brake mode restricting only reverse rotation of the brake drum. The operating lever 1112 is urged in a direction reaching the auxiliary brake mode from the brake release mode in a normal state. The operation restricting portion 1120 restricts a movement of the operating lever 1112 reaching the auxiliary brake mode by being brought into contact with the operating lever 1112 in the brake release mode.
