    Abstract: An air-conditioning apparatus includes refrigerant systems that each include an outdoor unit and indoor units and that air-condition a single room, and circulators for making a temperature distribution in the room uniform. The air-conditioning apparatus determines a load on each of the two refrigerant systems in operation, and, if it is determined that improvement of operating efficiency is possible on the basis of the determination result, performs a system-selective operation in which operation of one of the refrigerant systems determined to be under a low load is stopped and the other refrigerant system determined to be under a high load is selectively performed, and causes the circulators to transport blown air blown from the indoor units of the refrigerant system determined to be under a high load to an air-conditioned zone of the refrigerant system determined to be under a low load.

    Abstract: An axial flow fan improves air capacity and static pressure characteristics, and can ease stress at a leading edge portion of a blade base, even when a shape for noise reduction is adopted. An axial flow fan includes a boss portion and rotor blades. A rotor blade is segmented into a first area extending from the boss portion toward the outer peripheral side, and a second area connected to the first area and extending from the first area to the outermost periphery of the rotor blade. The distribution of a forward sweep angle varies quadratically in the first area, and the maximum forward sweep angle in the first area is not larger than the forward sweep angle in the second area. The distribution of chord-pitch ratio varies in a curved manner from the base as the minimum value in the first area, and is linear in the second area.

An amount of the covering film per one side is within a range of 0.01 to 0.8 g/m2. An amount in terms of mass of transition metal other than cobalt in the covering film per one side of the plated steel sheet is within a range of 4 to 400 mg/m2. An amount in terms of mass of cobalt in the covering film per one side of the plated steel sheet is within a range of 0.1 to 20 mg/m2.
