  • Publication number: 20090130561
Abstract: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery ensuring that a charge-discharge irreversible capacity at an initial cycle is sufficiently small even when an active material layer comprising a negative electrode active material on a current collector is increased in a density for obtaining a high capacity. This object is attained by a graphite composite particle for a nonaqueous secondary battery, which satisfies the requirements (1) and (2): (1) DL/DS is more than 1 and 2 or less, wherein DL ?m means a volume-based median size measured by a laser diffraction/scattering-type particle size distribution measuring apparatus, and DS ?m means an average circle-equivalent particle size which is determined from a measured area S of particles each having a contour not overlapped with a contour of another particle in a SEM; and (2) a Raman R value is 0.04 or more and 0.

  • Publication number: 20090094211
Abstract: To implement an expanded search and to provide expanded search results, a first search query generated by a user is received. A type of expansion to apply to the first search query is determined. Expanded search queries associated with the first search query are automatically generated according to the determined expansion type without intervention from the user. A search is executed on each one of the expanded search queries to retrieve search results. A second search query is received, and the second search query is one of the expanded search queries. Expanded search queries associated with the second search query are automatically generated according to the determined expansion type without intervention from the user. A search on each one of the expanded search queries associated with the second search query to retrieve search results is executed. The search results are provided for presentation to the user in modules.

  • Publication number: 20090015642
Abstract: A liquid storage container includes a liquid containing body that is formed of a flexible film and contains liquid therein; a liquid lead-out member connected to the liquid containing body; and a spacer member disposed in the liquid containing body. The liquid containing body deforms in a direction in which inner wall surfaces of the flexible film facing each other are brought into contact with each other at the time of reduction in the remaining amount of the liquid as the inside liquid is taken out through the liquid lead-out member, and the spacer member regulates contact between parts of the inner wall surfaces of the flexible film facing each other at the time of reduction in the remaining amount of the liquid to thereby form a remaining liquid space where liquid remains.

  • Publication number: 20080211884
Abstract: A liquid feed tube for feeding a liquid from a liquid tank disposed on a liquid jetting device body side to a jetting head mounted on a reciprocating carriage, including: a long elastic member and a film member connected in an airtight state to the elastic member along a longitudinal direction of the elastic member; and a space part formed by the elastic member and the film member and used as a liquid feed passage, wherein the elastic member is made of a specific resin composition. Thus, the bending rigidity of the liquid feed tube can be lowered, and the resistance to moisture permeability and the gas barrier property thereof can be realized at low cost.

  • Patent number: 7413296
Abstract: In a liquid supplying member, for supplying liquid from a liquid container to a liquid ejection head which are provided in a liquid ejection apparatus, a plurality of elastic members, each of which is elongated in a first direction so as to have a first face and a second face, are arrayed in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. A first film member is joined to the first face of each of the elastic members. A second film member is joined to the second face of each of the elastic members, such that a passage, through which the liquid is supplied from the liquid container to the liquid ejection head, extending in the first direction is hermetically defined between the adjacent elastic members by inner faces of the first film member and the second film member.

  • Patent number: 7367663
Abstract: A liquid container includes a liquid pack having a flexible pouch holding the liquid, a container body containing the liquid pack, an expandable-and-contractile stirring chamber formed in the container body, and a pressurized fluid supply passage for supplying a pressurized fluid into the stirring chamber. At least a part of the stirring chamber is formed of a low-rigidity member. A pressurized fluid is supplied through the pressurized fluid supply passage into the stirring chamber to press and deform the low-rigidity member by the pressure of the pressurized fluid. The deformed low-rigidity member presses and deforms the flexible pouch of the liquid pack. The liquid container prevents the uneven distribution of ingredient concentration in the liquid contained in the liquid container without complicating and enlarging a liquid-consuming apparatus.
