  • Patent number: 7357495
Abstract: A liquid container includes a liquid pack having a flexile pouch holding liquid, the flexible pouch having a bent wall which bends with a consumption of the liquid held in the flexible pouch; a container body containing the liquid pack; and a restricting member to be in contact with the bent wall of the flexible pouch for restricting the bent wall of the flexible pouch from bending outward while the liquid is consumed. The restricting member is in contact with the bent wall over substantially the entire thickness of the flexible pouch of the liquid pack. When the flexible pouch of the liquid pack is compressed to discharge the liquid, the bent wall of the flexible pouch of the liquid pack can be surely prevented from bending outward, without any breakage of the flexible pouch.

  • Patent number: 7278718
Abstract: A liquid injection apparatus having a liquid reservoir for containing liquid, a recording head for injecting the liquid, and a liquid supply passage for supplying the liquid in the liquid reservoir to the recording head is disclosed. A valve unit is located on the liquid supply passage. The valve unit has pressure chamber for temporarily retaining the liquid. As the recording head injects the liquid, the liquid in the pressure chamber decreases. In response to a negative pressure generated by the decrease of the liquid in the pressure chamber, a valve mechanism of the valve unit selectively establishes a supply state where the liquid is supplied from the liquid supply passage to the pressure chamber and a non-supply state where the liquid is not supplied from the liquid supply passage to the pressure chamber. An flow rate adjuster forcibly changes a flow rate of the liquid that flows through the liquid supply passage.

  • Publication number: 20070145709
Abstract: A pedaling correction device for a bicycle capable of objectively detecting the state of pedaling and assisting the detection so that the training of pedaling technique can be performed according to an accurate theory. The cranks having pedals mounted at the tips thereof are installed on the center axis of the device so that a crank gear can be rotated according to the rotation of the cranks. The state of the pedaling of a user is monitored and the shape of the crank gear is deformed so that when the cranks reach positions where the user must increase forces applied to the pedals, the vertical diameter of the crank gear can be increased. Also, when the cranks reach positions where the user must release forces applied to the pedals, the vertical diameter of the crank gear can be reduced, whereby the correction of pedaling can be assisted by using such a crank gear.
