  • Patent number: 6050678
Abstract: The value C defined between the width W1 of the ink chamber 2 and the width W2 of the piezoelectric element portion 7 disposed on the vibrating sheet 5, which is obtained based on an equation; C=(W1-W2)/(2.times.W2), is set in a range of 0.5 to 0.8. This value C=(W1-W2)/(2.times.W2) is an index value of an allowable range of displacement amount of the piezoelectric element portion 7, in which the ink ejecting speed is not influenced by the displacement when the piezoelectric element portion 7 is arranged on the vibrating sheet 5 with the displacement from a center of an upper plane of the ink chamber 2.

  • Patent number: 5943079
Abstract: Disclosed is the ink jet head in which a part of the partition wall of the ink manifold 8 is constructed from the flexible damper membrane 9 which absorbs the pressure wave of the ink by being vibrated therethrough, the damper membrane 9 entirely vibrating under the single vibration mode with the same phase and having the natural frequency so as not to produce resonance with the reflected wave, thereby it can avoid that ink ejecting property is influenced by reflection occurring in the retrograde component of the pressure wave and it can obtain uniform ink ejecting property every ejecting time.

  • Patent number: 5822638
Abstract: An object of a camera of the present invention is to protect mode change switches, a mode display member, or the like from being damaged or prevent it from malfunctioning, and to improve maneuverability. A center part of a camera body 2 shaped like a rectangular parallelepiped is revealed or hidden by a protective cover 5 that can slide freely between the center part of the camera body 2 and a left-hand part thereof. Arranged on the face, top, and back of the center part of the camera body 2 are a photography lens 3, a strobe 6, and mode change switches 16, a mode display member 17, and the like which are used during photography. These members (photography-time used members) are shielded by the protective cover 5 in a closed state and thus protected from being damaged. Moreover, the incident that the members malfunction can be minimized.

  • Patent number: 5434803
Abstract: A coordinate measuring machine and the method of measuring therein wherein the instruction of the geometic shape is prevented from mistaking and the geometic shape of the workpiece is measured without interrupting the joystick operation. The measuring direction of the probe and the measured value of workpiece are taken in the data receiving part. The geometic shape calculation part calculates the errors of each geometic shape based on the measured value from the data receiving part and the formula which was input previously and represents the geometic shape such as "a straight line or circle". And, the geometic shape recognition part compares respective shape errors such as "a straight line and circle" which are calculated in geometic shape calculation part and recognizes the geometic shape having the lowest shape errors.
