  • Publication number: 20130169239
Abstract: An electric power generation control system for a vehicle, which enables generation of electric power by a generator as much as possible while preventing an electrical component from being overheated by power generation by the generator. The electric power generation control system selectively switches a mode of the generator between first and second modes in which an instruction voltage is higher and not higher than an allowable voltage of a wire harness, respectively. A counter value is counted up in the first mode and down in the second mode. When the counter value has reached a higher limit value, the first mode is inhibited and the power generation mode is set to the second mode. This increase the proportion of an execution time period of the first, and accordingly, when a possibility of overheating the wire harness becomes high, the instruction voltage is lowered.

  • Publication number: 20130164648
Abstract: An electromagnetic main stop valve which is opened by an electromagnetic force of a solenoid with energization of a valve body in a valve-closing direction by energizing unit is provided in a hydrogen tank. A current sensor and the accelerator opening-degree sensor for detecting a use gas flow rate in a fuel cell stack are provided. A pressure sensor for detecting a pressure in the hydrogen tank is provided. The control device sequentially sets the electromagnetic force of the solenoid so that a valve-opening amount is such an amount as to supply a use gas flow rate to the fuel cell stack based on detection values of the current sensor or the accelerator opening-degree sensor, and the pressure sensor. When the flow rate of hydrogen gas flowing into a gas supply path increases due to a hydrogen gas leak, the main stop valve is automatically closed.

Abstract: Non-destructive testing system performs accurate testing as to whether lamination joining portion of different metal materials is in strong joining state by secure metal joining. The system sets a lamination joining portion of different metal materials of a work to a certain position and angle. Laser light in certain waveform is applied to lamination joining portion surface to capture images by infrared camera, and data processing device obtains infrared images. Based on infrared images, Fourier transform is performed on each pixel of infrared images, and phase image is created by console device. Based on created phase image, effectiveness/defectiveness of joining is determined. In this non-destructive testing, whether reflection by vertical wall in vicinity is significant is determined, based on intensity of infrared images obtained immediately after irradiation with laser and angle between laser light optical axis and testing part surface is finely adjusted to obtain infrared images with less noise.

Because a pump cover (56) provided separately from the balancer housing does not include a radial bearing for either balancer shaft, the pump cover is not required to be attached to the balancer housing when machining the radial bearing bores in the balancer housing so that the manufacturing process is simplified, and the coaxiality of the bearing halves for each balancer shaft can be ensured without difficulty as opposed to the case where the pump cover is provided with a bearing bore which is required to be aligned with the corresponding bearing bore of the balancer housing.
