    Abstract: A vector memory subsystem for use with a programmable mix-radix vector processor (“PVP”) capable of calculating discrete Fourier transform (“DFT/IDFT”) values. In an exemplary embodiment, an apparatus includes a vector memory bank and a vector memory system (VMS) that generates input memory addresses that are used to store input data into the vector memory bank. The VMS also generates output memory addresses that are used to unload vector data from the memory banks. The input memory addresses are used to shuffle the input data in the memory bank based on a radix factorization associated with an N-point DFT, and the output memory addresses are used to unload the vector data from the memory bank to compute radix factors of the radix factorization.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an ultrasonic electronic cigarette atomizer. An atomizer shell, an atomization piece and a liquid guide structure are arranged in the atomizer. The liquid guide structure communicates with a liquid storage cavity in the atomizer shell. A heating body is further arranged in the atomizer shell. Both of the atomization piece and the heating body are in contact with the liquid guide structure, and both of the heating body and an atomization surface of the atomization piece communicate with an airflow passage, and a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the heating body are respectively connected with one end and the other end of a power supply. The heating body can not only quickly heat the tobacco tar to approach to its atomization temperature, but also can transfer a part of heat to the atomization piece, so that the atomization piece atomizes the tobacco tar quickly, shortening the atomization time.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a modified deodorant urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin and use thereof, as well as a particleboard and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of wood-based panels. Raw materials for preparing the modified deodorant UF resin provided by the present disclosure include: melamine-modified UF resin (MUF), aluminum ammonium sulfate dodecahydrate, wax, and water. Raw materials for preparing the MUF include: urea, formaldehyde, and melamine. When the modified deodorant UF resin provided by the present disclosure is used to prepare wood-based panels, the aluminum ammonium sulfate dodecahydrate losses 12 crystal water during hot pressing to form a metastable structure NH4Al(SO4)2, in which NH4+ can react with the formaldehyde to reduce formaldehyde emission, and NH4+ and A13+ can absorb hydroxyl groups of organic substances to form hydrogen bonds to reduce odor of the wood-based panels.

    Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of biology, and in particular relates to an attenuated strain of African swine fever virus (ASFV) with IPTG-induced deletion of a D1133L gene and use thereof. In the present disclosure, it is firstly found that the D1133L protein of ASFV can inhibit production of IFN-? and downstream cytokines ISG-15 and ISG-56, and can be used as an immunosuppressant with a relatively strong immunosuppressive effect. In addition, the attenuated strain of ASFV with IPTG-induced deletion of the D1133L gene is constructed. Specifically, a screening expression cassette is inserted into a position before the non-structural protein gene D1133L of the ASFV using an Escherichia coli lac operator-repressor system, to obtain a recombinant virus. In the presence of the IPTG, the recombinant virus has similar characteristics to a wild-type virus; and in the absence of the IPTG, the expression of the D1133L protein is inhibited.

    Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of African swine fever (ASF) treatment, in particular to use of a compound aprepitant in prevention or treatment of the ASF. In the present disclosure, it is found that the compound aprepitant can significantly inhibit replication of an African swine fever virus (ASFV); in addition, it is found that the aprepitant inhibits transcription and protein expression of D1133L, and reduces transcription and protein expression levels of p30 and p72, preventing virus invasion on host cells. Therefore, the compound aprepitant can be used to inhibit early and late infection of the ASFV. Accordingly, the compound aprepitant can be used to prevent or treat the ASF.

    Abstract: Methods to enhance the coverage of NR systems for coverage-limited wireless devices are disclosed. A serving base station may configure a coverage-limited UE with parameters for the UE to operate in a coverage enhancement mode through RRC signaling, DCI, or RAR grant. The UE may use the configuration parameters to determine whether to enter into the coverage enhancement mode when connecting and communicating with the serving base station. The configuration parameters may configure the UE to exploit both time diversity and frequency diversity to extend and enhance coverage when receiving PDSCH and PDCCH channels. The UE may use the configuration parameters to receive PDSCH and PCCCH that are coverage enhanced using time repetitions and frequency hopping. Advantageously, the base station may flexibly and dynamically configure the UE with coverage enhancement parameters to extend the coverage of the UE using time diversity and frequency diversity gains as the UE moves around.
