Abstract: A smart home network system includes a number of home devices, a smart gateway, and a control device. The smart gateway stores a mapping list that records configuration information of each home device, and the configuration information contains a UID code of each home device. When received a control signal for controlling a target home device from the control device, the smart gateway analyzes the control signal and modulates the control signal with the UID of the target home device and converts network protocols, to generate an effective control command, then transmits the control command to the target home device. When received status information from the home devices, and the smart gateway sends the status information to the control device for reading status information of the home devices. Therefore, user can operate the control device anywhere to remote control each individual home device via the smart gateway.

Abstract: A smart switch applied to a remote control system in a smart home is connected to a power and at least one electronic device. The smart switch includes a storage, and a communication unit receiving commands from a remote source which include the unique identification code of a target electronic device. A smart gateway, a remote unit, and a processor unit including a converting module and a control module are also included. The converting module converts the remote command to a control signal that can be recognized by the electronic device, and the control module controls the remote unit to send the control signal to the electronic device. A remote control system is also provided.

Abstract: A smart home network system includes a number of home devices, a smart gateway, and at least one register controller. The register controller generates and sends a registration request to the smart gateway. After receive the registration request, the smart gateway assigns a register region and a region code in a mapping list stored in the smart gateway. The register controller further generates and sends a registration code to the home devices in the area where the register controller is placed, in order to control the home devices to register their configuration information in the mapping list stored in the smart gateway. Therefore, the smart gateway is able to control each individual home device.

Abstract: A bus stop sign capable of providing detailed bus schedules includes a storage unit, a detecting unit, a communicating unit, and a control unit. The storage unit pre-stores a table recording identifications of a plurality of mobile terminals, identifications of a plurality of bus terminals, and stop information of the bus stop sign along bus routes of the bus terminals. If the identifications of the mobile terminals obtained by the detecting unit match one or more identifications recorded in the table, the control unit obtains identifications of bus terminals recorded in the table corresponding to the obtained identifications, and controls the communicating unit to transmit the obtained identifications to the server. The server determines the current location of the nearest bus terminal travelling toward the bus stop sign and feeds back the current location of the nearest bus terminal to the mobile terminal. A related sever is also provided.

Abstract: An LED display device providing current correction includes a number of LED modules, a microprocessor, and a storage unit storing a standard voltage value. The correction sequence begins with each of the plurality of LED modules entering a work state in sequence, outputting a feedback voltage indicating work current of one of the LED modules to the microprocessor in sequence, comparing the feedback voltage with the standard voltage, adjusting the current of the LED module if the feedback voltage does not equal the standard voltage.

Abstract: A street lamp includes a lighting unit, an input unit configured to receive bill information, a communication unit configured to communicate with a server, a display unit, a cash receiving unit configured to receive payment and a controlling unit. The controlling unit controls the communication unit to send the bill information received by the input unit to the server. The communication unit receives a payment amount sent back by the server. The controlling unit controls the display unit to display the payment amount and controls the communication unit to send a finish signal to the server after the cash receiving unit receives full payment. The street lamp has payment function that enable user to pay various bills without any manual intervention of the branch officer.

Abstract: A bus stop includes a storage unit, a communicating unit, a display unit, and a control unit. The communicating unit communicates with a server which is in communication with a plurality of buses, a plurality of stops which the buses will pass, and current locations of the buses. The display unit displays at least one route consisting of a plurality of bus stops including the bus stop. The control unit generates a request signal carrying the location of the bus stop to the server. The server determines current locations of the buses on a route which includes the bus stop, compares the real-time locations with the location of the bus stop to select a nearest bus travelling towards the bus stop. The display unit display a mark marking the bus stop. A related system is also provided.

Abstract: A streetlight includes a storage unit pre-storing a location of the streetlight, a communicating unit communicating with a server, an input unit mounted facing toward an outside of the streetlight, a display unit, and a control unit. The input unit generates a first request signal in response to a user operation thereon. The control unit obtains the location of the streetlight stored in the storage unit in response to the first request signal, generates a second request signal carrying the obtained location, and controls the communicating unit to transmit the second request signal to the server. The server schedules one or more taxis which are currently vacant and whose current locations are near the obtained location. The display unit displays the one or more current locations and one or more identifications of the one or more taxi scheduled. A related server and system are also provided.

Abstract: A server includes a communicating unit, a storage unit, and a control unit. The communicating unit communicates with a plurality of clients and a plurality of streetlights, receives advertisements from the plurality of clients, and information of a user's personal consumption preference sent by and from each of the streetlights. The storage unit stores the advertisements provided by the plurality of clients. The control unit obtains the advertisements from the storage unit according to the information of the user's personal consumption preference transmitted by and from a streetlight, and controls the communicating unit to transmit the obtained advertisements to the streetlight. A related system is also provided.

Abstract: A remote intelligent monitoring system includes a server and a plurality of LED street lamps. Each of the plurality of LED street lamps includes a plurality of LED light sources connected in parallel, a detecting module and a sensing module. The detecting module detects the functioning of each LED light source, and the sensing module detects atmospheric information of the area where the LED street lamp is located. If the detected functioning is not consistent with specified electrical standards corresponding to the detected atmospheric information, either the server or the LED street lamp itself can adjust the electrical functioning of the LED light sources to accord with the specified standards.

Display the closed loop and the sensed handwritten touch input of the user. Determine whether the sensed handwritten touch input associates with an image inserting command in response to the trigger signal. Retrieve an image selected by the user from a storage unit, if the sensed handwritten touch input associates with an image inserting command. And display the selected image within the an enclosed region of the closed loop. An electronic device using the method is also provided.

Abstract: An electronic device used for writing memos includes a storage unit, a display unit, a touch input unit, and a processor. The storage unit is used for storing an electronic calendar and a memo file written by a user. The touch input unit senses touch input of handwritten content on the displayed electronic calendar by the user and generating signals associated with the user's touch input, and recognizes handwritten content of the user according to the generating signals. The processor includes an identification module and a memo adding module. The identification module determines a date associated to the created handwritten content according to the generated signals. The memo adding module automatically adds the recognized handwritten content to the memo file stored in the storage unit of the determined date. A method for writing memos is also described.

Abstract: A method for verifying signatures includes the following steps. Generate corresponding input signals in response to user's operation for inputting a signature on an electronic device. Then detect coordinates of the handwriting of the user's signature. Extract the feature of the user's signature according to the detected coordinates. Generate a user identifier according to the extracted feature of the user's signature, and transmit the extracted feature of the user's signature and the generated user identifier to a server. Retrieve the feature of signature corresponding to the user identifier recording in the storage unit. And finally, compare the retrieved feature of signature with the received feature of the user's signature transmitted from the electronic device, to verify whether they are the same; and transmit the verified result to the electronic device. An electronic device and a signature verifying system are also provided.

The touch input unit displays a handwriting input screen for allowing a user perform a touch input of a handwritten note thereon and generates signals in response to user's touch input. The processor includes a page flipping module, a storage module, an image processing module, a format conversion module, and a control module. The page flipping module detects a page flipping gesture. The storage module stores content of the handwritten note in the storage unit if the page flipping gesture is detected. The image processing module detects and recognizes touch input of a handwritten signature. The format conversion module combines the handwritten note and the handwritten signature into a file and converts the file into a predetermined format. The control module controls transmitting the converted file to an electronic device.

Abstract: A method for printing and faxing is used for an electronic device storing a relationship table. The relationship table records a mapping relationship between touch input and a plurality of commands. The method comprises the following steps. Display an electronic file selected by a user. Then generate signals in response to user's touch input on the displayed electronic file. Determine whether a command associated with the touch input of the user is a printing command or a fax command according to the generated signals and the relationship table. Retrieve circled content of the displayed electronic file circled by the user when the command associated with the touch input of the user is the printing command or the fax command; and send the circled content to a printer or send the circled content to a fax machine selected by the user. An electronic device using the method is also provided.

The control module also controls the electronic device to execute the associated command.

Abstract: A method for writing memos includes the following steps. Recognize touch input of handwritten content on a touch sensing device by a user. Automatically add a memo containing the recognized handwritten content to a memo file associated with a memo date in a calendar, if the recognized handwritten content of the user comprises a memo date. And store the memo file in a storage unit. An electronic device using the method is also described.
