Abstract: A delivery assembly comprises a delivery apparatus and a prosthetic valve releasably connected to a cord-retaining device of the delivery apparatus by a plurality of cords or tethers. The cords desirably have a multi-stranded construction formed from a plurality of strands of material. The multi-stranded construction can be, for example, a braided construction, a twisted construction, or a whip-stitch construction. The multi-stranded construction can include integral openings along opposing end portions of each cord. Each cord can extend through an aperture in an apex of the frame of the prosthetic valve or around an apex with one end portion of the cord being retained on the cord-retaining device and another end portion of the cord being retained on a slideable release member of the delivery apparatus.

Abstract: In embodiments, this disclosure is directed to sofas which may be conventional appearing sofas but that include, for example, a chaise for a sectional set or in the middle of a normal or studio sofa or a chair, that includes heating, massage, vibration, and/or airbag systems. The sofa may thus integrally include a vibration system, a heating system, a massage system, and/or an airbag system. In embodiments, the heating system may be capable of keeping the seat warm to a temperature of approximately 40° C. In other embodiments, the temperature may go as high as 70° C. in a therapeutic system.

Abstract: The disclosure provides methods of producing a salt product which includes starting with a quantity of salt, placing the salt under an infrared light for a period of time, exposing the salt to sunlight for a period of time, exposing the salt to maifan stones for a period of time, and roasting the salt while being contained in clay pots that are surrounded with elements such as apatite, tourmaline, germanium, maifan (barley stone), volcanic rocks, titanium, and illite at high temperature for a period of time. The salt may include sea salt.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a switch. The switch includes a network-virtualization module, an update module, an acknowledgment module, and an election module. During operation, the network-virtualization module establishes a forwarding segment for an end device multi-homed with the switch and a second switch. The forwarding segment can be identified by a segment identifier persistent in the switch and the second switch. The update module constructs, for the second switch, a first route update message comprising an indicator value for the forwarding segment. The acknowledgment determines the indictor value in a second route update message from the second switch as an acknowledgment for the first route update message. If the switch receives the acknowledgment from a respective switch participating in the forwarding segment, the election module initiates a designated forwarder election for the forwarding segment.
