  • Publication number: 20120227269
Abstract: A linear actuator includes a stationary part, a movable part moveably supported by the stationary part, and at least one elastic member disposed between the movable part and the stationary part. The stationary part includes a stator core with a pair of teeth extending inwardly there from, and a winding wound on each of the teeth. The movable part disposed between the teeth includes two pairs of permanent magnetic poles respectively facing the teeth and an output shaft projecting in a first direction. When the windings are electrified, the stationary part generates a magnetic field which interacts with the permanent magnetic poles to reciprocate the movable part relative to the stationary part in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

  • Patent number: 8106898
Abstract: A system for compensating for skew in a color video signal transmitted by a cable having multiple conductors is described. A test pulse signal (e.g. a 2 MHz signal) is inserted into the color components (e.g. RGB) of the video signal during time periods in each frame when the RGB video signals are inactive, such as within 300 ?s after the V sync signal. After transmission over the cable, the RGB components with the inserted test signal are delayed relative to each other using a delay line in cooperation with a control circuit. The delay line generates detect signals by detecting relative delays of the test signal pulses inserted in the RGB components. The control circuit controls the amount of delay in the delay line based on the detect signals, so that the RGB components in the video signal outputted by the delay line are synchronized.

  • Publication number: 20110057881
Abstract: Disclosed is a KVM management system and method of providing synchronization signal adaptable depending one user's demand. The KVM management system includes a first module and a second module. The first module converts a first type of synchronization signal selected from a first group of synchronization signal combinations into a transitional signal. The second module converts the transitional signal into a second type of synchronization signal selected from a second group of synchronization signal combinations for the display. The transitional signal may be a composite synchronization signal combines one of red, green, blue video signals from the computer and carried on at least one pair of wire in an Ethernet network cable. The type of transitional signal can be predetermined by adjusting a first register stored in the first module. The second type of synchronization signal can be predetermined by adjusting a second register stored in the second module.

  • Publication number: 20080068009
Abstract: The invention proposes a method and an apparatus for testing a magnetic field of a coil. The method comprises applying an alternating current to the coil to generate an alternating magnetic field; measuring simultaneously the induced electromotive potential at a plurality of positions in the alternating magnetic field; and collecting and processing signals of the induced electromotive potential so as to obtain said coil's magnetic field distribution. The apparatus comprises probes positioned in said alternating magnetic field to generate the induced electromotive potential; a multi-channel data acquisition card for collecting the signals of the potential; and a processor for processing the collected signals to obtain said coil's magnetic field distribution. The method and the apparatus eliminate the interference by the magnetic field of the earth by testing the coil's alternating magnetic field to improve test accuracy and to improve the testing efficiency by multi-channel acquisition of the test signals.
