    Abstract: The present invention is a limited rotation Fiber Optic Rotary Joint (FORJ) of one or more optical channels. This will enable one or more optical signals to pass across a rotational interface for a fixed number of rotations. For many applications, such as a winch or certain robotic joints, an unlimited number of rotations in either direction is unnecessary. For these types of applications a limited rotation FORJ is an attractive option because they typically have lower loss, are less complex, and have higher reliability.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining pilot information is disclosed. A wireless/transmit receive unit (WTRU) receives a plurality of high speed shared control channel (HS-SCCH) resources including radio resource control (RRC) configuration information for high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA), wherein the RRC configuration information includes dedicated pilot information associated with each received HS-SCCH resource. The WTRU detects a high speed downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH) radio network transmission identifier (H-RNTI) associated with the WTRU in one of the plurality of HS-SCCH resources. The WTRU determines pilot information, based on the dedicated pilot information and the one of the plurality of HS-SCCH resources, for a high speed physically downlink shared channel (HS-PDSCH) associated with the one of the plurality of HS-SCCH resources.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of fabricating a transparent conductive film, including preparing a carbon nanotube composite composition by blending a carbon nanotube in a solvent; coating the carbon nanotube composite composition on a base substrate to form a carbon nanotube composite film, and acid-treating the carbon nanotube composite film by dipping the carbon nanotube composite film in an acid solution, followed by washing the carbon nanotube composite film with distilled water and drying the washed carbon nanotube composite film to form a transparent electrode on the base substrate. The transparent conductive film can have excellent conductivity, transparency and bending properties following acid treatment, so that it can be used in touch screens and transparent electrodes of foldable flat panel displays. Further, the carbon nanotube composite conductive film can have improved conductivity while maintaining transparency after acid treatment.

A number of transmitters/receivers are deployed into single well having a conductive casing. A magnetic field is induced through the conductive casing and into a surrounding subterranean rock formation, and the magnetic field is detected by the receivers. The receivers have main windings, feedback winding and bucking windings. One of the receiver coils in the tool string is excited at a time, and induced voltages at all of the other receiver coils, either in straight mode, or in feedback mode, are measured.

The method includes depositing a resist film and curing the resist film at a temperature of at least 180 degrees centigrade. A cured resist film capable of supporting a line having an aspect ratio of at least ten is thus provided. A portion of the cured resist film is removed. A remaining portion of the resist film forms the line. An insulating or nonmagnetic layer is deposited after formation of the line. The line is removed to provide a trench in the insulating or nonmagnetic layer. The trench has a height and a width. The height divided by the width corresponds to the aspect ratio. At least part of the structure is provided in the trench.

Thus, a portion of the side gap and sacrificial layer(s) is removed. A remaining portion of the sacrificial layer(s) is thus left. The method and system also include wet etching the sacrificial layer(s) to remove the remaining portion of the sacrificial layer(s). A wrap around shield is provided after the remaining portion of the sacrificial layer(s) is removed.
