Examples of disease conditions that can be ameliorated with the administration of antisense compounds targeted to Factor 11 include thrombosis, embolism, and thromboembolism, such as, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction, and stroke. Antisense compounds targeting Factor 11 can also be used as a prophylactic treatment to prevent individuals at risk for thrombosis and embolism.

The device may determine a first number of search points of the first spatial layer based on a modulation order of the first spatial layer, and a second number of search points of the second spatial layer based on the first number of search points and a modulation order of the second spatial layer. The device may compute a quantity of distance metrics based on the first and second numbers of search points. The device may demap symbols of the received transmission based on the quantity of distance metrics. In some examples, demapping the symbols may be based on a per-stream recursive demapping process.

These nanomagnetic particles can also be used as imaging contrast agents due to their small size and high magnetic moment. The nanomagnetic particles include a series of sequentially added, stabilizing surface coatings rendered onto nano-sized magnetic crystal clusters (e.g., magnetite particles) to impart colloidal stability in complex biological samples with minimal leaching of the coating materials, high binding capacity, and low non-specific binding. Another benefit of this invention is the ability to utilize both external and internal magnetic field-generating separation devices to effect separation of the magnetic nanoparticles.
