    Abstract: A paper folding method and device for manufacturing filter cartridges. The device consists of a paper feeding mechanism and a paper receiving-folding mechanism. The paper receiving-folding mechanism is mounted oppositely by two groups of conveyer belts (7, 8) provided With a plurality of protruding parallel sheets. Papers are fed by the paper feeding mechanism in accordance with the paper folding height and speed. Two groups of protruding parallel sheets in the receiving-folding mechanism grip the filter paper alternately to receive and fold the paper. The paper folding height can be adjusted by adjusting the relative height of the protruding parallel sheets in the two groups of conveyer belts of the receiving-folding mechanism. The conveyer belts can move in a direction rapidly with an increasing speed. The device can manufacture different specification paper folding of all kinds of filter cartridges, and the production efficiency can be improved.
