The guard assembly includes a guard for covering the blade and for moving upwards under the action of a workpiece. In a working condition, at least a portion of the guard abuts against the workpiece, and the workpiece can slide relative to the guard. The guard has a guiding wall which abuts against the workpiece in the working condition and which guides the cooling liquid into a kerf in the workpiece formed by the blade.

The cross section of the inner casing is rectangular or rectangle-like. The mixer-reactor can achieve a fast mixing of two reactant streams which reacts with instantaneous, complicated parallel or consecutive competing reactions. The time scale of the mixing process is several milliseconds.

General homogeneous operators are associated with each data point to generate a model of the object. The general homogeneous operators are applied to each encoded point of the associated component for each component to manipulate the model of the object.
