  • Publication number: 20080092215
Abstract: System and method for transparent single sign-on authentication on computers in a networked environment. A preferred embodiment comprises receiving an authentication request from an operating system of a first computer, requesting credentials of an application making the authentication request, authenticating the credentials, storing the credentials if the authentication is successful, and transmitting the credentials to a second computer. On subsequent access requests made by the user on the second computer, the credentials can be retrieved from the secure store, eliminating the need to prompt the user to re-enter authentication information.

  • Patent number: 6853964
Abstract: A method models an object composed of one or more components. Data are input to a memory of a computer system for each component of the object. The data include Cartesian coordinates expressed in Euclidean space of a plurality of points x of each component. Each component point x is encoded as a vector x in a general homogeneous space by x=(x+½x2e+e*)E=xE?½x2e+e*, where e and e* are basis null vectors of a Minkowski space E. General homogeneous operators are associated with each data point to generate a model of the object. The general homogeneous operators are applied to each encoded point of the associated component for each component to manipulate the model of the object.

  • Publication number: 20040113930
Abstract: A user-interface of a device renders a first object and a second object, each object with data of a business application. The device is either of a first type or of a second type. In the device, an interpreter receives an application specification document with a statement. The statement indicates to render the first and second objects in an assembly. The interpreter identifies a presentation pattern for the assembly from predefined first and second presentation patterns according to the type of the device so that the assembly is rendered according to the presentation pattern.
