    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel, a plurality of sensors, a read-out circuit, and a control circuit. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels receiving a data signal having a polarity reversed with respect to a common voltage to display an image. The sensors sense light to output sensing signals. The sensors may be integrated into the display panel. The read-out circuit is charged with the sensing signals generating charged signals in response to a sampling signal generated during a period in which the common voltage has a predetermined reference voltage level. The control circuit calculates a position on the display panel from the charged signals received signals from the read-out circuit.

    Abstract: The present invention describes a component for a secondary battery and a manufacturing method thereof, and a secondary battery manufactured by using the component. The component for a secondary battery according to the present invention comprises a lead-free soldering bridge having a melting point of 150 to 300° C. and containing tin (Sn) and copper (Cu) as a main ingredient; the first and second metal plates spaced therebetween through a gap and coupling with the lead-free soldering bridge. According to the present invention, when an over-current flows through the component for a secondary battery, the temperature of the lead-free soldering bridge is locally increased rapidly to melt the lead-free soldering bridge, thereby efficiently interrupting the flow of an over-current.

    Abstract: An organic electroluminescence display has data, gate, and signal lines arranged on a substrate. Pixel regions are defined by the gate and signal lines. Switching elements provided in the pixel regions are electrically connected to the signal lines and the gate lines. Switching blocks open and close an electrical connection between the signal lines and the pixels. A driving unit drives the switching elements by supplying scanning signals to the gate lines. The driving unit also supplies a first control signal before the scanning signals are supplied and a second control signal when the scanning signals are supplied. The second control signal makes the switching blocks sequentially conductive, during which time image signals are supplied to the data lines. The first control signal permits the signal lines to be set at a predetermined voltage.

    Abstract: A method for preparing a cathode active material for a lithium secondary battery is provided. The preparing method includes: adding a phosphorus compound to a transition metal oxide dispersion liquid to prepare a coating liquid; drying the coating liquid to prepare a powder including phosphorus oxide coated on the surface of the transition metal oxide; and dry-mixing the powder coated with the phosphorus oxide with a lithium intercalation compound, and then firing the mixture to form a solid solution compound of L1-M1-M2-P—O (where M1 is a transition metal derived from transition metal oxide, and M2 is a metal derived from lithium intercalation compound) on the surface of the lithium intercalation compound. The method for preparing a cathode active material for a lithium secondary battery simplifies the conventional preparing process to save process cost, and it provides comparable electrochemical characteristics to a cathode active material obtained from a wet process.
