  • Patent number: 5448877
Abstract: A combination magazine and shipping tray for lead frames cut into discrete length strips. The magazine collects discrete length lead frame strips dispensed from an automated lead frame quality inspection machine. A cover, when placed over the magazine, provides a packaging tray for shipment of the collected lead frame strips to a semiconductor integrated circuit packaging facility. At the packaging facility, the cover is removed and the magazine is a loading magazine for loading discrete length lead frame strips into a machine used for packaging ICs.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 9, 1994
Date of Patent: September 12, 1995
    Assignee: National Semiconductor Corporation

  • Patent number: 5236119
Abstract: A paper plate (1) is provided which is pressure formed from a substantially rectangularly contoured paper board blank having corner sections. The corner sections include a plurality of fanned indentations (2) with the paper board blank being fabricated into the paper plate (1) through pressure formation. The fanned indentations (2) form corner creases after the paper plate (1) is pressure formed. Additionally, the pressure plate (1) defines rib members (5) which divide the paper plate (1) into individual compartments. A plurality of crescent contoured indentations (3) are provided on the paper board blank with the crescent contoured indentations (3) forming a stiffening fold member (6) which lies adjacent to and spans a top surface of a respective pressure formed rib member (5) to provide a double layer of paper board adjacent the respective rib member (5) for resisting deformation of the paper plate (1) when loads are applied.

  • Patent number: 4480802
Abstract: A silencer of an anti-reverse fishing reel comprises a rubbing block adhered onto a catch which prevents the reverse rotation of a ratchet of the fishing reel and a buffer recess with a wide opening formed on the catch. Whenever normally rotating the ratchet of a fishing reel, the driving gear of the fishing reel will frictionally carry the rubbing block and the catch to a position outside the rotating radius of the ratchet teeth so as to eliminate the clicking sound generally produced between the ratchet and catch. The buffer recess has a wide opening on the catch providing a buffer space for releasing the catch from the ratchet teeth.

  • Patent number: 4439945
Abstract: An instant push-button fastener for fastening a fishing reel seat to the handle of a fishing rod comprises a clamping button, a coupling sleeve and a releasing button. The clamping button is depressed to insert an engaging head into the coupling sleeve. The coupling sleeve fixedly retains the engaging head, securing the fishing reel seat to the handle of the fishing rod. The releasing button is depressed to release the engaging head from the coupling sleeve, thus releasing the fishing reel seat from the handle.
