  • Patent number: 11473586
Abstract: A thin cooling fan includes a fan shell, a motor, a plurality of blades, and a PCB. The fan shell comprises a base plate and a shell cover which cover to each other to form an inner space. The base plate has a first surface facing toward the inner space and a second surface having a receiving space and opposite to the first surface. The motor is combined in the inner space. The blades are disposed in the inner space and rotated by the motor. The PCB is disposed in the receiving space and flush with the second surface. Thus, the whole thickness of the cooling fan is reduced and the flow channel design in the inner space is not affected.

Abstract: A centrifugal fan includes an impeller, a motor and a fan frame. The motor is connected with the impeller and configured to drive the impeller. The fan frame includes a base plate, a top plate, a sidewall and air deflectors. The impeller is disposed between the base plate and the top plate. The sidewall is disposed on the base plate between the base plate and the top plate. A flow channel is between the impeller and the sidewall. The air deflectors are directly connected to the base plate and the top plate, and disposed toward an air outlet and sequentially at different radial positions outwardly from the sidewall along a forward circumferential direction toward an air outlet with respect to the impeller to sequentially expand the flow channel outwardly in a radial direction at different circumferential positions along the forward circumferential direction with respect to the impeller. The airflow entry tunnels are formed by the air deflectors between the base plate and the top plate.

  • Patent number: 9964119
Abstract: A centrifugal fan includes a housing and an impeller. The housing includes a first surface and a flow channel wall. The first surface has a surrounding section and an air inlet section. The surrounding section encircles the air inlet section. The flow channel wall defines a flow chamber and an air outlet, and at least a sidewall of the flow channel wall has a tongue portion close to the air outlet. The impeller is rotatably connected within the flow chamber. The surrounding section plus the air inlet section is an area on the first surface, on which the impeller is projected, and the surrounding section has a convex structure.

  • Publication number: 20160146216
Abstract: A centrifugal fan includes a fan frame, an impeller and a motor. The fan frame includes a base plate, a sidewall and a plurality of air deflectors. The sidewall and the air deflectors are disposed on the base plate. The base plate, the sidewall and the air deflectors form an accommodating space and an air outlet. The impeller is disposed in the accommodating space. There is a flow channel between the impeller and the sidewall. The motor is connected with the impeller and drives the impeller to rotate. The air deflectors are set separately along the extension direction of the flow channel and toward to the air outlet. The distance between the air deflector which is closer to the air outlet and the impeller is larger.

  • Patent number: 9322413
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a centrifugal fan. A driving device is connected to an impeller and drives the impeller to rotate within a case. The flowing channel includes a pressure-enhanced section and an output section. The case includes an air input section, an axial inlet section and a radial air outlet. The bottom base has a center and allows the driving device to be secured thereon. Multiple ribs are interconnected between the bottom base and the case to define air inlets among the ribs, the bottom base and the case. The air inlet within the output section has an outmost edge, which is farther from the center than an outmost edge of the air inlet within the pressure-enhanced section, or the air inlet within the output section has an area, which is larger than that of the air inlet within the pressure-enhanced section.
