    Abstract: An anti-surge structure built in switches includes three metal-oxide varistors disposed in an insulating body in stair-like arrangement. The metal-oxide varistors further has an insulating band surrounding a middle metal-oxide varistor and defining four isolated insulating areas within the insulating body, so as to avoid high voltage flashover and to protect the structure from external impacts. With the stair-like arrangement, each metal-oxide varistor has a connecting area for both ends of a metal strap to be welded thereon by low-temperature solder paste. When the low-temperature solder paste are melted by heat, a compressed spring element thereof is ejected to displace a pushing element thereof and to further detach two connecting points of the structure, so as to break a circuit connected by the structure.

The first light-shielding layer includes an overlapping region that overlaps with the metal layer and has a first width in a first direction. A minimum distance in the first direction between the edge of the metal layer adjacent to the gate line and the bottom of the contact hole is defined as a second width. The first direction is substantially perpendicular to an extending direction of the gate line, and a ratio of the first width to the second width is in a range between 0.2 and 0.8.

In a first TR test, the second transceiver receives a first probing signal sent from the first transceiver and performs a time-reversal (TR) process to generate a first TR signal to be sent to the first transceiver, and a first channel state information (CSI) is obtained in response to the first TR signal. In a second TR test, the first transceiver receives a second probing signal sent from the second transceiver and performs the TR process to generate a second TR signal to be sent to the second transceiver, a second CSI is obtained in response to the second TR signal. The processor compares a combination of the first CSI and the second CSI to a reference CSI for detecting anomalies.

The pseudo-random bit stream generator may generate a first random bit stream according to a first clock signal. The MASH delta-sigma modulator is coupled to the first random bit stream generator to receive the first random bit stream and output a second random bit stream according to the first random bit stream and a second clock signal. A frequency of the second clock signal is greater than a frequency of the first clock signal, and the random bit stream has bell-shaped distribution. A method of generating a random bit stream having bell-shaped distribution adapted to a random bit stream generator is also introduced.

    Abstract: A retract gate has an upper roller assembly, a lower roller assembly, an axial tube, a holding pole, and a screen body. The upper roller assembly has a rolling mechanism and a controlling mechanism. The controlling mechanism has a switch and an engaging component, the engaging component selectively sticking the differential crown gear. Two ends of the axial tube are connected with the upper roller assembly and the lower roller assembly. Two ends of the screen body are securely fixed on the holding pole and the axial tube. When the upper roller assembly is turned on, the rolling mechanism is released; when the upper roller assembly is turned off, the rolling mechanism can memorize the maximum length of the screen body and make the screen body not able to be unrolled further. Consequently, the retract gate can restrict babies and pets within a safe area.
