  • Patent number: 8732641
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for accurate RC extraction. A pattern database is configured to store layout patterns and their associated 3D extraction parameters. A pattern-matching tool is configured to partition a design into a plurality of patterns, and to search the pattern database for a respective pattern and associated 3D extraction parameters. If the respective pattern is already stored in the pattern database, then the associated 3D extraction parameters stored in the database are assigned to the respective pattern without the need to extract the respective pattern. If the respective pattern is not stored in the pattern database, then the extraction tool extracts the pattern and stores its associated 3D extraction parameters in the pattern database for future use. In this manner a respective pattern is extracted only once for a given design or plurality of designs.

  • Patent number: 8345337
Abstract: Disclosed is a polygon mirror device with discontinuous angles of reflections discontinuously to reflect a light beam from a light source with at least one angle. The polygon mirror device with discontinuous angles of reflections comprises a motor connecting with a base to rotate the base around a rotation axis. The base has an axial end surface to form a reference plane. The reference plane is approximately perpendicular to the rotation axis. A plurality of reflectors is positioned on the reference plane circularly around the rotation axis. The reflectors tilt relative to the reference plane with respective angles to form respective included angles. When the base is rotated around the rotation axis, at least one of the reflectors is moved to a reflecting location for receiving the light beam from the light source and reflects the light beam with an angle of reflection to form an image at a specific place.

  • Patent number: 6256901
Abstract: A measuring tape comprises a housing in which a pivot is disposed for mounting a reel. A tape blade is releasably wound on the reel such that the tape blade can be pulled out of an opening of the housing. The bottom of the housing is provided with an action slot in which a stop member is slidably disposed. As the stop member is pushed forward, the press portions of the front end of the stop member and the urging portion of an arresting piece pivoted in the housing work together to prevent the rewinding of the tape blade. When the stop member is pushed backward, the arresting piece is pushed to swivel backward so as to move away from the tape blade, thereby enabling the tape blade to be rewound.
