  • Publication number: 20110117790
Abstract: A fastener for separate male terminal block includes through holes in both sides of a front surface of a male terminal block. Each through hole has a bearing hole with relatively larger diameter and at a bottom thereof. Each bearing hole receives a clip with a screw hole in a center thereof. The clips settle in the bottom of the bearing holes. When screws of a female terminal block extend through the through holes and lock with the clips, the clips reliably bear the locking force of screws and prevent from disengagement under inappropriate force.

  • Publication number: 20090137027
Abstract: Polynucleotides having in excess of 1,000 nucleotides can be prepared using a solid phase synthesis technique. A feature of the technique is the use of a reusable solid support that contains covalently bound oligonucleotide. This covalently bound oligonucleotide is annealed to a bridge oligonucleotide, where the bridge is also annealed to a first oligonucleotide that forms a portion of the target polynucleotide. After the target polynucleotide is synthesized, it can be removed from the solid support under denaturing conditions, and the solid support re-used to prepare additional target polynucleotides. The yield of the target polynucleotide increases when shearing force is applied to the solid support that is linked to the growing oligonucleotide. This shearing force is thought to extend the growing end of the oligonucleotide away from contact with other oligonucleotide bound to the solid support and make that end more accessible to annealing with solution oligonucleotide.

Abstract: A multifunctional portable medical measurement device and the display method thereof are proposed. The multifunctional portable medical measurement device has a first medical measurement unit, a second medical measurement unit, a key unit, a display unit, and a microprocessor. The microprocessor selects either a first measured value or a second measured value for output to the display unit according to the operation of the key unit. When the portable medical measurement device operates in the second measurement mode, a digital display for displaying only a numeral is used to display the second measured value of the second medical measurement unit. When the portable medical measurement device operates in the first measurement mode, a plurality of digital displays for displaying a numeral is combined to display the first measured value of the first medical measurement unit.
