    Abstract: An energy-saving pneumatic barrier gate device comprises a machine, having an actuating portion, an electronic control portion, and a gas supply portion connected to an air compressor; a shaft assembly and two switch components, installed on the actuating portion; a barrier component, installed on one end of the shaft assembly; and a driving assembly, installed on the other end of the shaft assembly. The shaft assembly controls execution of swinging of the barrier component. The two switch components control cessation of swinging of the barrier component. The driving assembly controls the movement of the shaft assembly and barrier component, and includes a linkage rod pivoted to the shaft assembly and two bellow pumps each having one end pivoted to a respective one of two ends of the linkage rod and the other end installed on a respective one of supports on an outer surface of the gas supply portion.

    Abstract: A radial artery signal measuring device includes a flexible signal sensor, a signal processor, and a flexible cable. The flexible signal sensor is fixed on a skin surface over a radial artery by a patch during use. The flexible signal sensor includes a flexible substrate, at least one infrared light source, and a light detector. The at least one infrared light source is used to emit an infrared light to the radial artery, wherein the wavelength of the light source is infrared light greater than 1000 nm. The light detector is used to receive the infrared light reflected by the radial artery and generate a radial artery signal. The signal processor includes a housing for fitting the wrist of a user, a circuit board, a microprocessor, and a battery. The flexible cable is used to transmit the radial artery signal to the microprocessor.

    Abstract: In the field of seismic data analysis, the problem of estimating features of a microseismic event waveform, detected at the sensors of a geophone array in the presence of background seismic energy and sensor noise, is considered. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and system for estimating wavefront arrival times and polarizations across the sensors of an array, while simultaneously extracting the associated event sensor waveforms from the seismic background. The resulting waveform estimates are estimated in such a way that estimation errors are expected to be noise-like, and free of any systematic changes in the magnitude or phase of the arriving wavefronts.

    Abstract: A dual-purpose rehabilitation machine includes a base, a fixed rod unit, a mobile device, several fastener belts and a driving unit installed behind the fixed rod unit so as to shorten a distance between a user and the fixed rod unit such that when a piston unit of the driving unit is moved to a second position, the user is lifted upward from a bed or chair to abut against the fixed rod unit. The fastener belts are mounted on the mobile device, thereby eliminating the employment of a belt-fixing rod and avoiding collision of a user's head against the belt-fixing rod, which in turn, economizes the storage space and the manufacturing expense. The fastener belts are distributed on several parts of the patient to assist in stable standing up of the patient and preventing wobbling of lower parts of the patient when standing up.

    Abstract: A valve manifold box comprises a chamber and a front cover. Significantly, the chamber is manufactured by injection molding and is one-piece construction. Moreover, the chamber comprises a back board, a sidewall, at least an outfall, and multiple fittings and inside surface at the bottom sidewall has changes in an inclination angle for collecting the liquid within the chamber. By means of injection molding, one piece construction of the chamber is obtained such that it prevents chemicals from leaking outside. Besides, by using the design that the inside surface at the bottom sidewall has changes in an inclination angle, liquid can be easily collected and drained. Also, since it is unnecessary to frequently maintain the valve manifold box, maintenance costs are saved.
