    Abstract: An illumination system including at least one light source, a reflection cover, a wavelength conversion element, and a filter element is provided. A focal point of the reflection cover is disposed on an extension line of a transmission path of an excitation beam provided by the light source, and an opening of the reflection cover is adjacent to the focal point. The wavelength conversion element penetrates through the opening, and has a light-action region. The light-action region is disposed on the transmission path of the excitation beam, and converts the excitation beam into a conversion beam. The reflection cover is disposed on a transmission path of the conversion beam. The filter element is disposed on a transmission path of the conversion beam from the reflection cover. The conversion beam from the reflection cover is obliquely incident to the filter element, and the filter element filters the conversion beam.

The sun protection material can scatter a light in a wavelength range between 250 nm and 400 nm. A sun protection composition containing the sun protection material also may scatter a light of a wavelength range between 250 nm and 400 nm, such that the UV protection of the sun protection composition is enhanced.

    Abstract: The state of protein phosphorylation and glycosylation can be key determinants of cellular physiology such as early stage cancer, but the development of phosphoproteins and/or glycoproteins in biofluids for disease diagnosis remains elusive. Here we demonstrate, for the first time, a strategy to isolate and identify phosphoproteins/glycoproteins in extracellular vehicles (EVs) from human plasma as potential markers to differentiate disease from healthy states. We identified close to 10,000 unique phosphopeptides in EVs by isolating from small volume of plasma samples. Using label-free quantitative phosphoproteomics, we identified 144 phosphoproteins in plasma EVs that are significantly higher in patients diagnosed with breast cancer than in healthy controls. Several novel biomarkers were validated in individual patients using Paralleled Reaction Monitoring for targeted quantitation. Similarly a group of glycoproteins in plasma EVs are identified.

A refractive index of the first translucent layer is larger than one and is smaller than that of the phosphor sheet. A top surface of the reflective housing is substantially flush with the light emitting surface.

    Abstract: A heart rate detection method for calculating heart rate using heart sound from auscultation positions identified by a statistical approach utilizes a down-sampling and filtering process to acquire samples of heart sound from multiple auscultation positions of multiple testees and calculate heart rate with the samples, records time for calculating heart rate from each auscultation position of each testee and record the same from electrocardiogram, calculates a mean error and a standard deviation of the time to identify the auscultation positions allowing faster speed in heart rate detection, and applies a Bland-Altman difference plot and both a coefficient of determination and a Pearson's correlation coefficient to determine the degree of consistency and correlation of the heart rate measured from the multiple auscultation positions to identify the auscultation positions allowing generation of precise heart rate.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating a pellicle includes forming a first dielectric layer over a back surface of a substrate. After forming the first dielectric layer, and in some embodiments, a graphene layer is formed over a front surface of the substrate. In some examples, after forming the graphene layer, the first dielectric layer is patterned to form an opening in the first dielectric layer that exposes a portion of the back surface of the substrate. Thereafter, while using the patterned first dielectric layer as a mask, an etching process may be performed to the back surface of the substrate to form a pellicle having a pellicle membrane that includes the graphene layer.
