    Abstract: A readout circuit for reading sensed signals of a pixel array. The readout circuit includes: an operational amplifier, a plurality of switching devices and a computation circuit. The operational amplifier is arranged to generate an output signal in each amplifier output cycle. In each amplifier output cycle, each of the switching devices is controlled by a switch controlling signal to selectively couple pixel circuits to the differential input terminals of the operational amplifier. The computation circuit is arranged to the recover a plurality of sensed signal respectively corresponding to a plurality of pixel circuits. In each amplifier output cycle, at least two of the switching devices are turned on, such that the operational amplifier receives the sensed signals of at least two pixel circuits in the pixel array simultaneously and sums the sensed signals of the at least two pixel circuits to generate the output signal.

    Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for 3D object reconstruction using photometric mesh representations. A decoder is pretrained to transform points sampled from 2D patches of representative objects into 3D polygonal meshes. An image frame of the object is fed into an encoder to get an initial latent code vector. For each frame and camera pair from the sequence, a polygonal mesh is rendered at the given viewpoints. The mesh is optimized by creating a virtual viewpoint, rasterized to obtain a depth map. The 3D mesh projections are aligned by projecting the coordinates corresponding to the polygonal face vertices of the rasterized mesh to both selected viewpoints. The photometric error is determined from RGB pixel intensities sampled from both frames. Gradients from the photometric error are backpropagated into the vertices of the assigned polygonal indices by relating the barycentric coordinates of each image to update the latent code vector.

    Abstract: The invention provides an optical sensor and an image sensing method. The optical sensor includes a sensing array, a sampling circuit and an operational circuit. The sensing array performs an exposure operation to sense an object and output a plurality of first sensing signals, and performs a reset operation to output a plurality of second sensing signals. The sampling circuit outputs a plurality of first pixel data of an object image according to the plurality of first sensing signals, and outputs a plurality of second pixel data according to the plurality of second sensing signals. The operational circuit executes a subtraction operation on the plurality of first pixel data and the plurality of second pixel data to obtain a denoised object image. Therefore, the sampling circuit and the image sensing method of the invention can effectively obtain the denoised object image.

The constant current circuit generates a bias voltage to the column circuitries according to a reference current. In response to the bias voltage level, a row output current provided by each column circuitry and flowing through each row of the sensing pixels is equal to or close to the reference current. Since the row output current coincides with the reference current, the row output current is not adversely affected by the external factors.
