    Abstract: A novel low dropout regulator (LDO) is presented. The LDO includes the generation of a first feedback signal and a second feedback signal. The first feedback signal and a reference signal connect to a first error amplifier. The second feedback signal and the first error amplifier output signal connect to a second error amplifier. The output signal from the second error amplifier is coupled to the gate of a FET transistor. The FET transistor can be either a p-channel FET transistor, an n-channel FET transistor, a NMOS pass transistor, or a PMOS pass transistor. The positive input terminal or the negative input terminal of the first amplifier or of the second amplifier therefore need to be configured accordingly. When the source of the FET transistor is connected to the input voltage VIN, the drain of the FET transistor is the output voltage VOUT; when the drain of the FET transistor is connected to the input voltage VIN, the source of the FET transistor is the VOUT.

    Abstract: A novel method to generate a feedback signal in a switching regulator is presented. The method includes the generation of a first feedback signal using the switching signal. The first feedback signal carries a ripple and the ripple is in phase with the switching signal. The first feedback signal does not use a control-in terminal PIN. The voltage level of the first feedback signal is regulated through a resistor and a capacitor connected between the switching node and the switching regulator controller. In an alternative method, a second feedback signal is generated using the regulator output voltage. The controller receives the second feedback through a control-in terminal PIN. In the alternative method, another resistor and another capacitor are used to connect the first feedback signal and the second feedback signal. Furthermore, the second feedback signal can adjust the regulator output voltage through two resistors connected in series.

The transparent exterior body fully coats with the colored mixed body via injection molding, and this feature effectively enhances quality and visual effect, and chemical and color stability of the products, and reduces the cost. The present invention reduces damage during objects with colors contacting human.

An anti-blue light reflection film(s) is deposited on one surface of a fluorescent wafer, wherein the surface is attached to a blue-emitting chip. The anti-blue light reflection film(s) on the wafer can effectively prevent the incident blue light from reflecting on the surface of the wafer, increase the availability of the blue light and reduce the reflection loss of yellowish green light in the direction towards the chip, and thereby improving the whole luminous efficacy of the device. The white light LED packaging structure of the present invention has high fluorescence efficiency, and is suitable for applying in high-power white light LED illumination field.

    Abstract: A novel method to operate a switching regulator is presented. The method includes the generation of at least two reference signals. A first reference signal is a constant DC voltage signal and a second reference signal is a periodic ramp sawtooth signal at a given frequency. It also includes the generation of a feedback signal by using the output voltage of the switching regulator. In one method, a capacitor is either charged by a bias current or discharged by a switch. A first comparator is configured to compare a first constant DC reference voltage signal to a feedback signal. A second comparator is configured to compare a periodic negative ramp sawtooth signal to a voltage signal on the capacitor. In an alternative method, a comparator is configured to compare the feedback signal to either the periodic ramp sawtooth reference signal or the constant DC reference signal depending on the switching operation of the switching regulator.
