  • Patent number: 10983816
Abstract: A computing device receives template files and parameters associated with the template files, where the template files comprise scripts, and where the associated parameters comprise a user preference associated with an efficiency of the image. The computing device may determine dependencies between layers of the scripts based on a unified image model. The unified image model may generate a logic tree that includes nodes, where each one of the nodes represents each one of the layers of the scripts. The computing device may generate an efficient logic tree based on the logic tree and the user preference of a generated image model. The generated image model may generates the efficient logic tree by changing the dependencies of the nodes in the logic tree based on the user preference. Based on the generated efficient logic tree the computing device may build the image.

  • Publication number: 20210087110
Abstract: There is provided a fiber-reinforced brittle matrix composite. The fiber-reinforced brittle matrix composite comprises a brittle matrix material (for example, a cementitious or ceramics material) and a coated fiber embedded in the brittle matrix material, wherein the coated fiber comprises a fiber (for example, polyethylene fiber, glass fiber, silicon carbide fiber, alumina fiber, mullite fiber) and a coating material (for example, carbon nanofibers, carbon nanotubes), which is non-covalently disposed on the fiber. A method for producing the fiber-reinforced brittle matrix composite is also provided. The method comprises providing a fiber, disposing a coating material on the fiber to form a coated fiber, wherein the coating material is non-covalently disposed on the fiber, and embedding the coated fiber in a brittle matrix material to obtain the fiber-reinforced brittle matrix composite.

  • Publication number: 20210056220
Abstract: A method applied to an equipment for improving confidentiality protection of neural network model is provided. An operating system of the equipment may comprise a framework and a hardware abstraction layer (HAL), and the method may comprise: before a source model in an application (app) is executed, by a processor of the equipment, modifying the source model to form a modified model by running a modification subroutine associated with the app, and causing the framework to accept the modified model, instead of the source model, as the model to be executed, so the framework instructs the HAL to prepare execution of the modified model.

  • Publication number: 20210049611
Abstract: A biometric authentication platform (10) uses fault-tolerant distributed computing to determine if a supplied biometric sample and a sample stored in a registry are from the same person. A collection of reference samples is maintained in a distributed ledger (115) with immutable history of modifications. Results of matching are stored in a separate distributed ledger (125) providing an immutable history log. Coordinated use of both ledgers (115, 125) enable biometric authentication of registered users (140) in real time. Users (140) may interact with providers (150) and/or trusted circles of other users in order to recover user records from the user ledger (115).

  • Publication number: 20210044429
Abstract: A biometric authentication platform uses fault-tolerant distributed computing to determine if a supplied biometric live scan and template are from the same person. Features provide additional protection for biometric data. The template and live scan may be encrypted using a symmetric encryption key. The encrypted template and live scan may be sent with copies of the symmetric key, each copy further encrypted by a public key associated with one processor's public-private key pair. Each processor may decrypt a copy of the symmetric key, which may then be used by the processor for decrypting the live scan and template for matching. A decentralized user ledger may store an encrypted copy of the biometric template, with the key stored locally in a registered device. Alternatively, a decentralized user ledger may store a hash of the biometric template, for verification of a template that is maintained on a registered device.

  • Publication number: 20210037009
Abstract: A biometric authentication platform uses fault-tolerant distributed computing to determine if a supplied biometric sample and a template sample, which may be stored in a registry, are from the same person. Samples may be subdivided and assigned to Sub-Sample Processing Clusters for processing in parallel to determine sub-results. A consensus authentication result may then be determined by the processing cluster based upon the sub-results.

  • Publication number: 20210027905
Abstract: A method of separating actinium and/or radium from proton-irradiated thorium metal. The thorium metal is irradiated to produce isotopes including thorium, actinium and/or radium. The resultant product is dissolved in solution and a selective precipitant is used to precipitate a bulk portion of the thorium. The precipitated thorium can be recovered. Chromatography is carried out on the remaining solution to remove residual thorium and to separate the actinium from the radium.

  • Patent number: 10866375
Abstract: A light source device and an electronic apparatus are provided. The light source device includes a substrate, an electrode layer and a surrounding frame disposed on the substrate, a light emitter and a light detector mounted on the electrode layer and located inside of the surrounding frame, and a light permeable member disposed on the surrounding frame and covering the light emitter and the light detector. When the light emitter receives a predetermined current so as to emit an invisible light toward the light permeable member, the light detector receives a reflected part of the invisible light to generate an initial photocurrent. When the light emitter receives a manipulation current so that a detection photocurrent generated from the light detector is less than a first proportion of the initial photocurrent or greater than a second proportion of the initial photocurrent, the light emitter stops receiving the manipulation current.
