Abstract: A system enabling Transactional Memory with overflow prediction mechanism, comprising: prediction unit for predicting the mode for the next execution of a transaction based on the final status of the previous execution of the transaction; execution unit for executing the transaction in the execution mode predicted by the prediction unit, wherein the execution mode comprises overflow mode and non-overflow made. According to this invention, before a transaction is executed, it is predicted whether or not the transaction will overflow, and therefore, the execution of the transaction which is necessary to determine whether or not an overflow will occur is saved.

Abstract: An exemplary shell for holding an electrical device on an external supporter. The shell includes a plate, a sidewall, and a rest. The sidewall extends from the plate. The plate and the sidewall cooperatively define a receiving space for holding the electrical device. The rest is attached to the plate. The rest includes two connecting ends being rotatable relative to the plate and a supporting end between the connecting ends and configured for standing on the external supporter and cooperating with the sidewall to hold the electrical device on the external supporter. A length of the rest is adjustable, so that a distance between the supporting end and the sidewall is correspondingly adjustable.

Abstract: A display device includes a display, a base, a stand for supporting the display on the base, and a rotating panel accommodated in the base. The stand has one end fixed to the display and an opposite end connected to the rotating panel. The rotating panel is rotatably connected to the base, and the stand is rotatable with the rotating panel. A supporting apparatus for supporting a display device is also provided.

Abstract: A cylinder mechanism includes a cylinder body assembly, a piston assembly, and a grasping assembly. The cylinder body assembly includes a cylinder body. The cylinder body defines a receiving cavity, a first gas hole, and a second gas hole. The first and second gas holes communicate with the receiving cavity. The piston assembly includes a piston movably received in the receiving cavity, a guiding shaft movably received in the receiving cavity, and a limiting member. A first end of the guiding shaft is fixed to the piston, and a second end defines a receiving groove. A pair of guiding hole is defined in the guiding shaft. The grasping assembly includes a pushing member movably received in the guiding shaft, a pin received through the guiding holes, and a latching member movably received in the guiding shaft and capable of protruding outward.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a base, a sliding member and a sliding mechanism. The sliding mechanism includes a first magnet disposed in the sliding member, and a first electromagnet disposed in the base opposite to the first magnet. The first magnet and the first electromagnet are capable of producing a first repulsive force and a first attracting force, the sliding member alternately slides back and forth between the different locations of the base driven by the first repulsive force and the first attracting force.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and full-system simulator for speeding memory management unit simulation with direct address mapping on a host system, the host system supporting a full-system simulator, on which a guest system is simulated, the method comprising the following steps: setting a border in the logical space assigned for the full-system simulator by the host system, thereby dividing the logical space into a safe region and a simulator occupying region; shifting the full-system simulator itself from the occupied original host logical space to the simulator occupying region; and reserving the safe region for use with at least part of the guest system.

Abstract: A power plug for connecting with a power outlet includes at least two metal connecting poles, two outputting cavities, and two conductive resilient sheets. The two outputting cavities are defined in a lower case of the power plug to connect an external device. The two conductive resilient sheets are received within an inner space of the power plug. The at least two metal connecting poles pass through an exterior surface of the power plug into the internal space to form two connecting terminals. Each of the conductive resilient sheets is connected between one of the two connecting terminals and a corresponding outputting cavity to transport electrical power from the power jack to the external device.

Abstract: A digital video disc player includes a housing, a shaft rotatably arranged in the housing, a rotary support accommodated in the housing and fixed to the shaft, a plurality of trays arranged on the rotary support, each of the trays supporting a digital video disc and a driving bar movably connected to the housing, the driving bar driving the shaft to revolve, thereby causing the trays to rotate together with the rotary support. User needs only to push the driving bar to switch the positions of the discs instead of opening the tray to replace new disc.

The power plug includes a first housing, a rotating plug assembly, two conductive connecting blades, a transmission mechanism, and a locking mechanism. The accepting assembly includes a charger cover, two conductive poles, and a buckling mechanism received in the charger cover. The rotating plug assembly drives the transmission mechanism to move down to insert into the charger cover, drives the buckling block to move up to insert into the first housing, and drives locking blocks to move closer and lock with the buckling block; and in the retracted state, the rotating plug assembly drives the transmission mechanism to move up, drives the locking blocks to move further away from each other, such that the locking blocks release the buckling block.

Abstract: A charger for charging an electronic device includes a base, a connector for connecting to the electronic device, and a pop-up mechanism. The pop-up mechanism includes a restricting unit, a pushing pillar and a return structure. The restricting unit includes a restricting sidewall and a bottom sidewall. The pushing pillar is connected to the bottom sidewall via a spring. The pushing pillar includes a resilient engaging arm. The pushing pillar is urged by the spring to an uppermost position where a top of the resilient engaging arm is located above the return structure. When the pushing pillar is pressed downwards, the resilient engaging arm slides in a positioning cutout of the return structure to hold the pushing pillar in a lower position. When the pushing pillar is further pressed downwards, the resilient engaging arm escapes from the positioning cutout to drives the pushing pillar returns to the uppermost position.

Abstract: A holding apparatus for holding an object, includes a support mechanism, a driven mechanism slidably coupled to the support mechanism and slidable between a first position and a second position, a driving mechanism slidably coupled to the support mechanism and adapted to drive the driven mechanism to slide between the first position and the second position, and a clamping mechanism rotatably secured to the driven mechanism and the support mechanism. When the driven mechanism is slid to the second position, the clamping mechanism moves inwards to clamp the object, and the driven mechanism clamps the support mechanism to prevent the driven mechanism from moving relative to the support mechanism so the clamping mechanism can hold the object firmly. When the driven mechanism is slid to the first position, the clamping mechanism expands out to allow the object to be released.

The cap can be lifted up to protrude or be retracted in the body of the mouse via an external force, the lifting up and the retraction of the cap cause the shape of the hand gripping the mouse to change, preventing fatigue in the hand.

Abstract: A connecting structure received in a main device for connecting an auxiliary apparatus. The connecting structure includes a retracting part formed on a bottom board of the main device and close to a sidewall of the main device and a clamping part. The clamping part is pivotablly mounted on the bottom board and pivotally connected to the retracting part. The retracting part drives the clamping part to extend out of the main device via an opening defined on the sidewall for connecting the auxiliary apparatus when the auxiliary apparatus needs to be mounted on the main device. The retracting part retracts the clamping part into the main device when the auxiliary apparatus is unmounted from the main device.
