When the ratio of the relative luminance meets the requirement and the relative luminance of a newly added primary color is greater than a certain value, the colors beyond the three-primary color gamut, which includes natural colors and other colors outside the natural color gamut, can be reproduced.

The preferred in vitro flavonoid-rich tissue is a callus tissue or an fast-proliferated roots of B. chinensis which contain a very high content of flavonoid as compared to the wild type B. chinensis. The present invention further provides a method for inducing the formation of the callus tissue and the fast-proliferated roots of B. chinensis. It also provides a method for extracting the flavonoids and a quantitative method for determining the amount of total flavonoids from the in vitro flavonoid-rich tissue.

The in vitro flavonoid-rich rhizome tissue of N. gracilis contains tectorigenin, which is distinctively different from the naturally grown rhizome of N. gracilis which contains no tectorigenin. The present invention further provides a method for cultivating the in vitro flavonoid-rich rhizome tissue, a method for extracting the tectorigenin from the flavonoid-rich rhizome tissue, and quantitative methods for determining the amount of tectorigenin in the in vitro flavonoid-rich rhizome tissue.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a locking mechanism for an external optical disk drive. The locking member is positioned on the upper housing to release or lock the cover. The cover has a projection extending downwardly from its front end and three journals are integrally formed with the cover. Three grooves are defined on the upper housing and sized to receive three corresponding journals of the cover. Besides, both ends of a resilient member are respectively adapted to be received in hubs. The resilient member is restrained by the upper housing and the hubs. Viscous material can be applied between the hubs and the shallow shaft. When the locking member disengages from the opening of the cover, the cover will be opened smoothly due to the viscosity of the viscous material.

The apparatus includes an upper housing, a cover, a solenoid valve sub-assembly, a solenoid valve base, a solenoid valve, a hook device, a torsion spring, an elastic plate, a lower housing, and two wires. When the cover is closed, the convex portion located at the front edge of the cover presses on the torsion spring, and the torsion spring contacts the elastic plate, resulting in an electrically conductive state. When the cover is opened, the torsion spring is released, and the torsion spring disengages from the elastic plate, disconnecting the circuit.
