    Abstract: A method for adjusting saturation degree and a color adjusting system are provided. The method for adjusting saturation degree includes the following steps. A hue circle is divided into a plurality of hue regions, and each of the hue regions is divided into a plurality of saturation regions according to at least one saturation threshold. A plurality of first input saturation degrees of a first saturation region of a first hue region of the hue regions are weighted by a first weighting formula for obtaining a plurality of first output saturation degrees. A plurality of second input saturation degrees of a second saturation region of the first hue region of the hue regions are weighted by a second weighting formula for obtaining a plurality of second output saturation degrees. The first weighting formula is different from the second weighting formula.

    Abstract: A thin film transistor includes a gate electrode, a gate insulating layer, a channel layer, an etching stop layer, two contact holes, a source, and a drain. The gate insulating layer covers the gate electrode. The channel layer is arranged on the gate insulating layer corresponding to the gate electrode. The etching stop layer covers the channel layer and includes an organic stop layer and a hard mask layer, the hard mask layer is located on a surface of the organic stop layer opposite to the channel layer to enhance a hardness of the organic stop layer. The two contact holes pass through the etching stop layer. The source connects to the channel via one contact hole, and the drain connects to the channel via the other contact hole.

    Abstract: Various arrangements of color sub-pixels in a group of pixels for use in a color display are disclosed. The same group of pixels is repetitively arranged in rows and columns in the color display. In particular, each group of pixels has four pixels arranged on the four quadrants of a rectangle or square. A pixel group may have two sub-pixels in R, two sub-pixels in G, two sub-pixels in B and two sub-pixels in W, but each of the pixels has two different color sub-pixels. In each of the four pixels in a pixel group, the two sub-pixels can be adjacent to each other along the column direction or along the row direction, but the two sub-pixels in at least one pixel are adjacent to each other along the column direction. A pixel group may have two pixels with R, G sub-pixels and two pixels in B.

    Abstract: A color LED display device without color separation comprises a substrate, a plurality of display units, a power supply unit, and a control unit. Each display unit comprises a driving chip, at least one red-light LED chip, at least one green-light LED chip, at least one blue-light LED chip, and a micro optical device assembly. The micro optical device assembly is disposed above the red-light, green-light and blue-light LED chips. When the control unit controls the display unit to emit light, the red-light, green-light and blue-light LED chips emit red, green and blue lights respectively and simultaneously. The red, green and blue lights pass through the micro optical device assembly, such that the light paths of the red, green and blue lights are changed and the three lights are combined on a two-dimensional plane. Therefore, the color separation phenomenon of the conventional color LED display device is solved.

    Abstract: A novel method for the removal and prevention of rust from corroded iron surfaces is disclosed. This is done by inducing reducing conditions at the interphase between the rusted surface and the attached aluminum surface. An iron coating provided by the reducing conditions surrounds the clean iron and creates a barrier against future rust. Our technology is an oxygen displacement technology which essentially removes rust from iron and iron based tools and structures. It is cost effective, non-invasive, environmentally friendly and can be mass produced.

    Abstract: We disclose herein a viable, cost efficient method for the instantaneous production of hydrogen gas. Hydrogen gas production is increased by utilizing solar and lunar energy. The hydrogen gas is generated spontaneously by the reaction of sodium hydroxide and aluminum as corrosion occurs, forming a layer of aluminum oxide upon the aluminum. This aluminum oxide layer prevents further reaction of sodium hydroxide and aluminum, and thus no more hydrogen gas is produced. Production of aluminum oxide can be bypassed by adding acetic acid or sodium acetate to the reaction. In this reaction the products are aluminum hydroxide and hydrogen gas. Thus, we disclose herein a method that prevents of the formation of aluminum oxide by the use of sodium acetate or acetic acid, the use of iron as a catalyst, and the enhancement of the reaction using natural light.
