    Abstract: A gas breaker includes a case with a chamber defined therein. The case includes an inlet path and an outlet path which is located corresponding to the inlet path. A board is pivotably located in the chamber and has a sealing member on the first end thereof for sealing the outlet path, and an extension extending from the second end of the board. The extension is engaged with a hook on a hook plate pivotably located in the chamber. When earthquake happens, the hook plate swings due to the earthquake so as to separate the hook and the extension. The sealing member on the first end of the board seals the outlet path to cut off the gas so that the gas cannot enter the gas line of the house.

    Abstract: A device for controlling and integrating multiple types of signal transmission cables includes a multi-signal transmitter module and a multi-signal receiver module. The multi-signal receiver module is connected to the multi-signal transmitter module via a network cable for receiving a first and a second differential signal sequentially transmitted by the multi-signal transmitter module. The multi-signal receiver module also performs a differential solution process for the received first and second differential signals, so as to get a first control instruction and a video signal, which are then sequentially transmitted to at least one electronic device for the same to execute a corresponding operation. With these arrangements, multiple signals can be transmitted and received with reduced quantity of cables, and the controlling and integrating device can be installed and maintained with reduced labor cost.

    Abstract: An air permeable elastic laminate and a fabricating method thereof are disclosed. At least two materials having different elasticity coefficients are combined to form an elastic laminate. A thermal melting processing technique is utilized to perform a local thermal treatment to the elastic laminate so as to form a plurality of hardened parts on the elastic laminate. A stretch stress is applied to the elastic laminate in order to break the hardened parts. The elastic laminate is elastically recovered after the stretch stress is released. The air permeability is provided to the elastic laminate through the broken hardened parts, and the unhardened parts on the elastic laminate still have elasticity.

The conductive elements are embedded in the embedded portion, and the connecting elements are mounted on the outer plate so as to connect adjacent socket structures together. The socket structures are so configured that ICs, processors, and printed circuit boards connected to the socket structures or the socket structures themselves can be recycled. Moreover, the printed circuit boards can be easily assembled to the socket structures, and the socket structures can be stacked up and securely connected to form a 3D structure which is otherwise difficult to put together by soldering.

    Abstract: The crude extract of Plectranthus Amboinicus (PA) has anti-inflammatory effects and can inhibit AP-1 binding in vitro. The incubation with PA crude extract resulted in significant inhibition of the LPS-induced expression of IL-6, IL-12, MCP-1, and RANTES in HUVEC cells. After the crude extract was further fractionated using preparative HPLC, fraction 8, 9, 10 and 11 were identified to inhibit the AP-1 binding activity. The active component of fraction 8 is Mena 987; fraction 9 is Mena 998; fraction 10 is Mena 9102; and fraction 11 is rosmarinic acid and the synthetic rosmarinic acid analogues. Other compounds showed inhibitory activities as well. These compounds have inhibitory effects on AP-1 activity and are useful as preventive or therapeutic agent for diseases in which excessive expression or activities of AP-1 are involved.
