    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a device and a method for preparing a high-density aligned carbon nanotube film. The device includes a container main body, a buffer partition plate and a solvent lead-out part. The buffer partition plate is located at a lower part of the container main body. The solvent lead-out part communicates with an interior of the container main body through a through hole in a side wall of the container main body and extends to an outside of the container main body. The method includes injecting a carbon nanotube solution into a container; immersing a substrate in the carbon nanotube solution; injecting a sealing liquid that is immiscible with the carbon nanotube solution along the substrate or the side wall of the container main body; and leading the solvent out or pulling the substrate such that the liquid surface of the substrate undergoes relative motion.

    Abstract: A method for preparing hydrogen sulfide from sulfur dioxide by electrochemical reduction includes electrochemically reducing sulfur dioxide absorbed in an aqueous solution into gaseous hydrogen sulfide with a membrane electrode, resulting in efficient and selective conversion of the sulfur dioxide absorbed in the aqueous solution into the hydrogen sulfide to avoid a deactivation of a cathode due to colloidal sulfur produced on the cathode and adhesion onto a surface of the cathode, wherein the method is carried out at ambient temperature and normal pressure without addition of a reducing agent, having no waste salts produced, and is simple in operation, and is convenient for large-scale application.

    Abstract: A preparation method of Antrodia cinnamomea water-insoluble dietary fiber. After ethanol and water extraction, Antrodia cinnamomea wastes are dried and superfine-comminuted to obtain Antrodia cinnamomea waste powder. The waste powder treated with NaOH solution containing NaBH4 is extracted it twice to obtain two extracts. The two extracts are combined and an appropriate amount of glacial acetic acid are added for neutralization. The extracts are centrifugalized and precipitate is collected. After washing the precipitate with ultrapure water, the precipitate is dissolved with LiCl-DMSO. The precipitate that is insoluble in the LiCl-DMSO solution is dialyzed and freeze-dried to obtain the water-insoluble dietary fiber component ACA-IDK of Antrodia cinnamomea. The LiCl-DMSO solution is subjected to ethanol/DMSO fractional precipitation, and then the precipitate is collected and dialyzed. The water-insoluble dietary fiber component ACA-DK of Antrodia cinnamomea is obtained after freeze-drying.

    Abstract: A storage vessel can include a shell that is formed by fibers wound about an axis and infused with a resin matrix. The resin matrix can include metal nanoparticles coated with a polymer and distributed within a resin. The nanoparticles provide low coefficients of thermal expansion, and the polymer coatings enhance their bonding with the resin The shells of such storage vessels provide increased tensile strength and modulus at both room and cryogenic temperatures. Such improvements stem from the higher interfacial residual thermal stress at cryogenic temperature due to their low thermal expansion properties, which in turn promotes crack branching that increases the energy dissipation of the matrix.
