    Abstract: Described herein are methods and compositions for improved hybridization capture for enriching for target nucleic acid sequences from a population of nucleic acids. In one aspect, the methods and compositions are useful for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) applications. The methods and compositions include combining in solution capture probes and target nucleic acid and permitting hybridization of the target nucleic acid to the capture probes under conditions to promote efficient hybridization. Following hybridization, the probe/target complex is immobilized to a capture material while simultaneously incubating at an optimum hybridization temperature. The incubation denatures unwanted nucleic acids from the capture probes further enriching for target nucleic acid.

    Abstract: A die of the package device is covered by an encapsulation layer, a plurality of lead portions are configured on the bottom surface of the encapsulation layer, a side portion of each lead portion is also exposed on a side surface of the encapsulation layer, and thereby the package device is used as a side-wettable package device; wherein, in a process of manufacturing the package device, a conductive electroplated conducting layer is formed on the surface of the encapsulation layer, and the electroplated conducting layer is used to conduct electric power required during an electroplating process. After the electroplating process is completed, the electroplated conducting layer can be used as a heat dissipation layer for the package device. The heat dissipation layer completely covers the surface of the package device so as to increase heat dissipation area and to be attached by a heat sink.

    Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product are provided for managing an accelerated shutdown of a networked system having a having a plurality of nodes. The system to be shutdown is analyzed and a priority order is determined for the nodes. An interval period is also determined between each node according to the priority order. A leaf node set is constructed according to different shutdown types required for each node and a dependency tree is constructed by analyzing the leaf node sets. Each node is then shutdown according to the tree and the interval period determined. The dependency tree and the interval period is iteratively modified during the node shutdown until all nodes and ultimately the system shutdown has been completed.
