A base station may transmit downlink control information (DCI) to a user equipment (UE) indicating a joint field for at least a first component carrier (CC) and a second CC of a carrier aggregation configuration. For example, the joint field may include a rate matching (RM) indication for the first CC and the second CC, a zero power channel state information reference signal (ZP-CSI-RS) indication for the first CC and the second CC, or both. In some cases, the RM indication may include a common RM resource (RMR) configuration applicable for both the first CC and the second CC or per-CC RMR configurations that indicate separate RMRs for each of the CCs. For example, a user equipment (UE) may download ML model information from a network to determine an ML model. The network may additionally configure a status reporting procedure, a fallback procedure, or both for the ML model. In some examples, based on a configuration, the UE may transmit a status report to a base station according to a reporting periodicity, a UE-based trigger, a network-based trigger, or some combination thereof. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may determine to fallback from operating using the ML model to operating in a second mode based on a fallback trigger. In some examples, to restore operating using a downloaded ML model, the UE may download an updated ML model or receive iterative updates to a previously downloaded ML model.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) supporting full duplex communications may determine that a set of downlink messages to be transmitted from a base station to the UE overlaps in time with a set of uplink messages to be transmitted from the UE. Accordingly, the UE may determine a downlink transmission power adjustment value for the set of downlink messages. In some examples, the base station may indicate the downlink transmission power adjustment value to the UE via radio resource control (RRC) signaling, a downlink control information (DCI) message, or both. The UE may transmit the set of uplink messages while simultaneously receiving the set of downlink messages with a transmission power that corresponds to the downlink transmission power adjustment value. Adjusting the transmission power for the set of downlink messages may reduce self-interference at the UE, the base station, or both.
