    Abstract: A novel TCO coating and its manufacturing method are disclosed. The TCO coating of the present invention consists of titanium oxide, silicon oxide and metal. The TCO coating is manufactured according to electromagnetic field simulation software basing on the Maxwell Equations. Because the manufacturing method (including steam plating and sputter plating) of the present invention may be carried out under the room temperature, base boards that are made of polymer and that can not withstand high temperatures may be used and hence base boards may have wider applications. Also, less time is needed in the production, production cost is lowered and mass-production may be achieved.

    Abstract: The invention provides a digital signage replacement module. The digital signage has a main circuit board and a plug-board disposed therein and connected to each other. The plug-board has a plug-card with a plug-slot, and a track disposed on each side thereof. The digital signage is covered up by a back cover so that an opening can be formed at one side edge of the digital signage. The computer module has a frame and a motherboard. The frame has a rail disposed on each side thereof and the motherboard has a slot and a connecting terminal disposed thereon. The slot has an interface socket card. The computer module can be placed into the digital signage through the opening with the rail placed into the track. Therefore, the connecting terminal is connected to the plug-slot and the computer module can be drawn out for maintenance.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses microwave resonant absorption (MRA) of viruses through dipolar coupling to viral confined acoustic modes. The unique geometrical and mechanical properties of viruses can be reflected by the MRA frequencies, MRA linewidth, and the absorption selection rules of high-order acoustic modes. Combined these spectral characteristics with the mature microwave technology, this invention provides a novel physical mechanism to develop non-affinity-based rapid detection and identification of viruses. It can be applied in preliminary characterization on unknown or mutant viruses.

    Abstract: A system design for a digital electronic sign board comprises a main circuit module, an adapter module and a computer module; wherein the adapter module is fixed between the main circuit module and the computer module. The main circuit module and the adapter module are fixed in the digital electronic sign board. The computer module is externally inserted into the digital electronic sign board. Therefore the computer module and the main circuit module are electrically connected through the adapter module. The system design of the present invention removable and attached the computer module with the main circuit module. As a result, when a maintenance worker needs to perform maintenance on the computer module, he or she can conveniently pull out the computer module from the digital electronic sign board and insert the computer module back to the digital electronic sign board after maintenance is done so as to improve the efficiency and quality of maintenance.

    Abstract: The present invention is provided for producing check data or recovery data in a disk array. According to the present invention, a plurality of buffers receives and stores the data respectively for a plurality of operation units to perform operations to produce check data. An output selector selects one of the buffers and sends the check data to the coupled disk drive. When recovering the data in a disk drive, by using the buffers coupled to the other disk drives, the data or the check data stored in the other disk drives are sent to the operation units to perform operations on the data and the check data to produce recovery data. The recovery data is then sent to the disk drive to be recovered by selecting the buffer coupled to the disk drive to be recovered via the output selector. In addition, the buffers can be coupled to a plurality of input selectors, which are used for selecting to send data in one of the buffers to the coupled operation units.

    Abstract: The present invention is provided for producing check data or recovery data in a disk array.     Abstract: A chip test method is suitable for testing a universal serial bus host controller. First, the host controller and the client device are individually set in a test mode. Next, the client device performs a client-side test preparation action. In addition, the host controller performs a host-side test preparation action. The host controller sequentially outputs a number of requests to the client device. The client device, in response to the requests, outputs simulated responses individually to the host controller, wherein the simulated responses are selected from correct responses corresponding to the requests, possible faulty responses, and error responses that are possibly to be received by the host controller during actual operation. Finally, the host controller performs a verification test to verify whether the host controller works properly under the various simulated situations.

    Abstract: A control method of maintaining data integrity throughout transmission is provided. Firstly, a parameter value according to the value of a packet size of a packet is generated. The parameter value equals to the value of the packet size multiplied by a first value and added by a second value, and the denominator of the first value is a value of 2 to the power of an integer. Then, it is determined whether the parameter value is greater than a byte times left in a frame. If it is not, the packet can be transmitted. The invention can achieve purposes of less bandwidth, less cost, and simple circuit design.

    Abstract: A driving method for a data storage device is provided, used for an application in a driving program. The driving program is executed in a computer system. When the operation system in the computer system is necessary to perform an access action to the data storage device, the operation system makes a request to the driving program. After the driving program performs an access action to the data storage device, it is reported to the operation system in response about the accomplishment of the request. If this request is a reading action, then the driving program can predict the data, which will be read by the operation in the next time of reading, and the data is pre-read from the data storage device and is stored into the memory device. In this manner, it can improve the data transmission efficiency of the data storage device.
