  • Publication number: 20260054330
Abstract: An electromagnetic-based ultrasonic residual stress relief system and process for welds on metal surfaces can include a latching switch for high voltage charging that controls current from the capacitor charging module to the high voltage capacitor, a non-latching switch for spark-gap trigger that can control current from a spark-gap trigger module to a spark-gap trigger circuit. The non-latching switch for spark-gap trigger can discharge energy from the high-pulsed current capacitor into the spark-gap circuit, which can discharge energy into a coil that can be moved over the weld zone. The large AC current induced high-frequency, small-amplitude through-thickness ultrasonic vibration yields residual stress relief in the weld and HAZ region.

  • Publication number: 20250323068
Abstract: An immersion station for performing lift off of metals and other materials (e.g., organic or inorganic films) from a plurality of wafers comprises an immersion chamber having a conical bottom portion, a drain coupled thereto, a spray bar having nozzles adapted to spray chemical solvent at a high flow rate into the immersion chamber, and an immersion tool positioned within the chamber having a cassette with compartments for holding a plurality of wafers, wherein the immersion tool has openings for exposure to the chemical solvent spray. The immersion tool and the spray bar nozzles are configured so as to provide an even distribution of solvent across the plurality of wafers in the cassette to induce metals to lift off from the plurality of wafers, and solvent and metal debris removed from the wafers flows downwardly to the conical bottom portion which directs the flow into the drain.

  • Publication number: 20210006076
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that are related to a set of reconfigurable energy storage modules that can be assisted by an algorithm used to create larger energy storage systems in a flexible and efficient manner. The modules can interconnect in series, parallel or series/parallel and achieve balancing of the energy in every module while providing terminal voltage and/or current control and regulation. The modules can reconfigure on-the-fly and behave as a regular battery, a by-passing unit with a very low resistance, or a module capable of bucking or boosting voltage.

  • Patent number: 6957047
Abstract: A remotely mountable weatherproof bi-directional, half-duplex switching amplifier system is designed to provide maximum range for low power half-duplex radios such as Spread Spectrum radio transceivers. This invention automatically senses when to go into the transmitter amplification mode and puts all the transmit power right at the antenna. In the receive mode, it provides low noise pre amplification of received signals at the antenna thereby minimizing or even eliminating the effects of the coaxial transmission line from the radio transceiver to the remote location of the antenna. The invention is preferred to be in a waterproof enclosure adjacent to the antenna mounted to a pole and powered by a DC injector and excited by a transceiver, both pole and injector located remote from the mounting pole and also includes an improved electrostatic overvoltage protection device.
