Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided which enable a user to easily and simply record and reproduce a broadcasting program. The method includes receiving and storing recording information regarding a broadcasting program that is to be recorded and a user-defined channel that is to be allocated to the broadcasting program; recording the broadcasting program with reference to the recording information; and reproducing the recorded broadcasting program corresponding to the user-defined channel with reference to the recording information, if the user-defined channel is selected by a user. When the method and apparatus are used, recorded content can be reproduced by simply selecting a channel. Therefore, there is no need to search for the recorded content, and this increases user convenience.

Abstract: Provided are a computer-readable medium storing markup documents and having a structure in which a plurality of markup documents are output as an integrated document, and a method and an apparatus of processing the markup documents. The computer-readable medium includes a plurality of markup documents and order information indicating an order in which the plurality of markup documents are to be output. Therefore, by introducing a concept of an output order and a master page to a plurality of independent markup documents, it is possible to integrate and output the plurality of markup documents as a single page.

Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for displaying objects according to an object request, which can reduce the time required to display the objects by requesting the objects according to a display order of the objects. The apparatus includes a data reception unit that receives data having object information regarding a plurality of objects stored in an external device, an object arrangement unit that confirms the display order of the plurality of objects according to the object information and that generates an object request list, in which the objects are arranged in a specified order, according to a result of the confirmation, an object request unit that transmits the object request list to the external device, and a display unit that displays the objects transmitted from the external device in response to the transmitted object request list.

Abstract: A telephone number searching system supporting an automatic telephone connection in which a telephone number is searched for through the internet and automatically dialed, and a method therefor. A web server is connected to a telephone number database for storing multiple predetermined telephone numbers. An information terminal is equipped with a web browser which is selectively connected to the web server for submitting a search request to receive a telephone number service and searching a telephone number from the telephone number database to display at least one searched telephone number. One number is selected by a user among the displayed telephone numbers and dialed automatically by a telephone plug-in to set up a communication channel through the telephone.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for executing an object in a wireless internet access terminal. The present invention includes steps of interpreting data inputted through the internet and displaying the inputted data; focusing any one of plural objects displayed on a screen and each linked to predetermined resource access location information; and selecting and executing any one of various execution items of the focused object according to an input state of a single button, so that it has an effect in that a user uses internet services conveniently through a wireless terminal since a user determines an execution item of an object with ease without pressing buttons several times with inconvenience by providing different execution items of an object according to input states of a single button in case that there exist plural execution items of one object.

Abstract: A web document display system and method wherein the web document display system includes a web document retriever for retrieving a web document via a network, a main display for displaying the retrieved web document thereon, a scale-down picture generator for generating a scale-down picture obtained by scaling down the web document not more than a predetermined size, and a sub-display for displaying the scale-down picture. Accordingly, the entire configuration of the web document can be seen on a screen.

Abstract: An information communicating system is provided, having a close-up function on a web document, a close-up method thereof and a recording medium recording the close-up method. The information communicating system coupled to a web server via a network includes an information communicating apparatus that downloads a web document from the web server, wherein when the web document is of a frame structure. When one frame is selected from the frame structure of the web document, the information communicating apparatus displays a close-up of the selected frame of the web document. Accordingly, since a particular part of the web document of the frame structure can be selectively focused and displayed, a readability of the document is improved on low resolution devices.
