  • Publication number: 20250254684
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for inter-slot and intra-slot frequency hopping in full duplex. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving scheduling information from a network entity, wherein the scheduling information schedules transmission of a plurality of uplink data channel repetitions in a plurality of slots according to a frequency hopping scheme that configures frequency hops between transmissions of repetitions of the plurality of uplink data channel repetitions. The method also includes taking one or more actions related to transmitting, according to the frequency hopping scheme, the plurality of uplink data channel repetitions in the plurality of slots based on the scheduling information.

  • Patent number: 12356466
Abstract: The described techniques enable repeated physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble transmissions across multiple random access occasions (ROs) using a same spatial filter. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a PRACH preamble across multiple ROs, where each RO is associated with a same synchronization signal block (SSB) or channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS). The PRACH repetitions may be transmitted in ROs in accordance with a first mapping rule: first, in increasing order of frequency resource index; second, in increasing order of a time resource index; third, in increasing order of PRACH slot indices; and fourth, in increasing order of PRACH association period indices. Additionally, or alternatively, the PRACH repetitions may be transmitted in ROs in accordance with a second mapping rule: first, in increasing order of time resource index; second, in increasing order of PRACH slot indices; and third, in increasing order of PRACH association period indices.

  • Patent number: 12356392
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for communication. In an aspect, a first UE determines information (e.g., from an external device, or via the first UE's own energy sensing) associated with scheduled uplink transmissions on a set of symbols by a second UE. The first UE performs measurements on at least some of the scheduled uplink transmissions during a first subset of the set of symbols where no DL signals are received by the first UE. The first UE receives at least one DL signal during a second subset of the set of symbols, and mitigates interference associated with the at least one DL signal based on the measurements.

  • Patent number: 12349123
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a downlink control information message including an indicator that dynamically indicates bundling of one or more feedback messages. The UE may determine a bundled feedback based on the indicator. In some examples, the UE may determine the bundled feedback from a set of feedback messages corresponding to a set of downlink data messages. The bundled feedback may include fewer feedback bits than a number of feedback bits included in the set of feedback messages. The UE may then transmit the bundled feedback based on bundling being enabled by the indicator.

  • Patent number: 12335868
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Base stations may reduce energy consumption by minimizing the use of periodic signals such as the system information block one (SIB1), which a user equipment (UE) may use to perform a random access channel (RACH) procedure with a base station. A UE may transmit a wake-up signal to the base station requesting an SIB1. The base station may transmit a synchronization signal block (SSB) that indicates that the base station is not transmitting an SIB1, and the UE may transmit the cell wake-up signal in response. A base station may refrain from periodically transmitting SSBs. A UE may determine that it is within range of a base station and that it has not received an SSB. The UE may transmit a wake-up signal to the base station, and the base station may transmit an SSB and an SIB1 to the UE.

  • Patent number: 12294406
Abstract: A communications transceiver system that employs self-interference mitigation techniques can detect static objects by using techniques that introduce angular or Doppler diversity. This can include moving Tx and Rx antennas and/or performing beam sweeping. When processing RF sensing data from reflected RF signals, self-interference mitigation techniques can be used and compensation can be made for the movement and/or beam sweeping to allow for both self-interference mitigation and detection of static objects.

  • Patent number: 12284135
Abstract: A base station may transmit a set of CSI-RSs corresponding to a set of ports of a UE and the UE may perform a set of CQI measurements on each port and across each sub-band. The UE may select, for each CSI-RS resource that the UE measures, a set of M worst CQIs and may select a best CSI-RS resource based at least in part on a corresponding set of M worst CQIs for the CSI-RS resource. The UE may report the M worst CQIs for the selected CSI-RS resource. Alternatively, the UE may select, for each CSI-RS resource that the UE measures, a set of M worst CQIs and may select a worst CSI-RS resource. In this way, the UE enables the base station to select a DMRS port and/or an MCS to use for communication.
