  • Publication number: 20050266150
Abstract: Disclosed is an electrode comprising a first organic/inorganic composite porous coating layer formed on its surface, wherein the first coating layer includes inorganic particles and a binder polymer for interconnecting and fixing the inorganic particles, and has micropores formed by interstitial volumes among the inorganic particles. An electrochemical device including the same electrode is also disclosed. Further, disclosed is a method for manufacturing an electrode having an organic/inorganic composite porous coating layer on the surface thereof, comprising the steps of: (a) coating a current collector with slurry containing an electrode active material and drying it to provide an electrode; and (b) coating the surface of electrode obtained from step (a) with a mixture of inorganic particles with a binder polymer. A lithium secondary battery including the electrode shows improved safety and minimized degradation in battery performance.

  • Publication number: 20050254203
Abstract: A monitor apparatus including a monitor main body to display a picture, and a base supporting the monitor main body, the monitor apparatus including: a link provided between the monitor main body and the base; a monitor hinge interposed between the monitor main body and the link and rotatably supporting the monitor main body to the base; a base hinge having a base bracket interposed between the base and the link and rotatably supporting the link to the base; a protruding portion formed in one of the base bracket and the link; and a rotation restricting portion provided in the other one of the base bracket and the link, elastically contacting the protruding portion, and preventing the link from rotation so as to keep the monitor main body rotated in a position parallel with the base. With this configuration, a link of a monitor is prevented from being rotated due to the weight thereof and the link when the monitor is in parallel with a base.

  • Publication number: 20050152109
Abstract: A monitor having a rotable connection terminal. A monitor body to display an image is coupled to a supporting base with an adjustable link which permits the monitor body to be positioned at various angles relative to the base. The connection terminal is operatively to the monitor body and adapted to receive a second cable which provides an operational signal for the monitor body. The connection terminal is rotatably coupled to one of the base and the monitor body to permit the second cable to be connected to the connection terminal from various angles relative to the base, whereby the position of the second cable may be conveniently located for operation of the monitor according to a mounting orientation of the monitor base, contributing to an aesthetically pleasing appearance of the monitor.

  • Patent number: 6878617
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of forming a copper wire on a semiconductor device capable of preventing the natural oxidation of copper. The method comprises the steps of: forming an insulation film pattern having vias and trenches on a semiconductor substrate; forming a copper wire by filling up the vias and the trenches with copper; successively forming a capping layer and a protective layer on the copper wire and the insulation film pattern; exposing the copper wire by selectively removing the capping layer and the protective layer; and forming an oxidation-prevention layer on the copper wire. According to the present invention, the natural oxidation of copper is avoided by selectively depositing aluminum on a copper wire pad, and therefore a dependable evaluation is possible from tests of reliability in a high temperature. Furthermore, since aluminum has a lower contact resistance compared with copper, dependable test results are obtained during tests of electrical characteristics.
