In some embodiments, the chemical composition may include a dipeptide. The dipeptide may include carnosine or camatine. In some embodiments, the chemical composition may include at least one lipid. One or more components of the chemical composition may be suspended in and/or dissolved in the at least one lipid. At least one lipid may include olive oil or mussel oil. In some embodiments, a method may include administering to a subject an effective amount of a pharmaceutically acceptable formulation comprising the chemical composition. The method may include inhibiting and/or ameliorating inflammation and/or a malady associated with inflammation. In some embodiments, the subject may include a human or a nonhuman mammal. Nonhuman mammals may include equines, canines, or felines.

A software-based authoring tool is disclosed that allows users to interact directly with and control a DVD or other media format and/or storage medium, specify media content that is intended to enhance the DVD, and output a program and associated media that would be available to other applications to combine with the DVD media. The authoring tool, identified as QC the Interactive Media Enhancement Editor, allows the author to play the DVD5 stop it at certain desired times or events and then allow the author to specify the enhancing media (identified as Secondary Media) that is to be associated with that time or event. The development of Secondary Media content relies on precise coordination with certain events (such as entering a specific menu or chapter of the DVD) or on certain time events (such as 25 seconds into chapter three of the DVD).

    Abstract: An exhaust nozzle for a gas turbine engine includes a nozzle casing having top and bottom walls and side walls. A liner is provided within the nozzle casing to define a cooling passage. The top and bottom walls each include mutually inclined planar wall portions which meet at respective creases. The creases increase the rigidity of the top and bottom walls. In addition, the inclined wall portions cause the cooling passage to taper in the direction outwardly from the creases, so assisting in the cooling air distribution over the liner.
