  • Patent number: 12203981
Abstract: A diagnostic device includes a probe, a motor configured to scan the probe over a test circuit, a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) attached to the probe and configured to be coupled to the test circuit such that an electronic noise present in the test circuit induces a first current that flows through the SQUID, and a current path configured to receive a second current that flows through the SQUID. The SQUID is configured to generate an output in a form of a first voltage in response to a sum of the first current and the second current being less than a threshold current, and a second voltage in response to the sum of the first current and the second current being greater than the threshold current.

  • Publication number: 20240317729
Abstract: The present invention relates to bifunctional compounds, which find utility as modulators of targeted ubiquitination, especially inhibitors of a variety of polypeptides and other proteins which are degraded and/or otherwise inhibited by bifunctional compounds according to the present invention. In particular, the present invention is directed to compounds, which contain on one end a VHL ligand which binds to the ubiquitin ligase and on the other end a moiety which binds a target protein such that the target protein is placed in proximity to the ubiquitin ligase to effect degradation (and inhibition) of that protein. The present invention exhibits a broad range of pharmacological activities associated with compounds according to the present invention, consistent with the degradation/inhibition of targeted polypeptides.

  • Patent number: 12099784
Abstract: The present invention relates to the real-time simulation of sound in three-dimensional virtual environments. In particular, a geometric method based on the principles of acoustic radiosity determines the room impulse responses of a virtual environment with arbitrary polygonal surfaces. The complexity of the method is of the order of the square of the number of patches that define the virtual environment. The room impulse responses are convolved with an audio signal and output through a speaker to simulate reverberation within the virtual environment, which corresponds to a physical environment.

  • Publication number: 20240250812
Abstract: The present disclosure provides protection to communications after establishing a secured connection to a secured website or application. An authentication service, after establishing a secured session, can calculate a trust score for a user. Based on the trust score, the security agent can encrypt access tokens used to authenticate a secure connection. The system can interrupt the secure connection based on the trust score of the user or the user device. The interruption takes place by ignoring requests to decrypt the access token. Without the decrypted access token, the browser is unable to authenticate the session, preventing further communications. After the user improves the security posture of the device or user, the security agent can recalculate the trust score. When the trust score is above a threshold, the security agent can being decrypting the access token, thereby authenticating communications from the browser.

  • Patent number: 11931470
Abstract: Visible light disinfection is a healthcare technology wherein violet light is used to inactivate pathogens such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses. The present invention overcomes the limitations of continuous irradiance in whole-room environments by pulse width modulation of the light sources and increasing the instantaneous irradiance while maintaining average irradiance and hence light power requirements. The invention further discloses the use of multispectral light sources wherein the pulse modulation frequencies are synchronized and the phase of the spectral components are offset in order to maximize synergistic or antagonistic responses to intracellular chromophore excitation.

  • Publication number: 20240082930
Abstract: A slot milling sequence includes a plurality of material removal processes or operations. Each of the material removal operations includes utilization of an end mill tool. Some of the material removal operations utilize trochoidal tool paths, whereas other material removal processes utilize one or more profile cuts. Some material removal operations that utilize profile cuts remove material from both sides of the cut in a single pass, whereas other material removal operations remove material from one side of the cut via a first pass of the end mill tool and remove material from the opposing side of the cut via a second pass of the end mill tool.
