  • Patent number: 11156367
Abstract: An adjustable camera assembly mounted within a door of an oven appliance includes a vertical guide rail and a camera movably mounted to the guide rail. A drive mechanism, such as a lead screw driven by a stepper motor, is mechanically coupled to the camera for moving the camera along the guide rail. A controller is coupled to a user interface for obtaining a rack position where food is located. Based on the rack position, the controller determines a viewing position where the camera is placed to achieve a desired view of the food and operates the drive mechanism to position the camera in the viewing position.

  • Publication number: 20200403290
Abstract: A reflective microstrip tuning circuit that operatively couples to another circuit to be tuned, in which tuning circuit receives an incident signal from the other circuit and enables adjustment of the amplitude and/or phase of the return signal reflected by the tuning circuit for use in the other circuit. The tuning circuit includes one or more cascaded couplers that divide power from the incident signal unequally among a plurality of adjustable tuning arms, in which the tuning arms may be individually adjusted to change the phase of the signal that is reflected by each arm so that both the amplitude and phase of the signal returned by the tuning circuit is adjusted to achieve the desired tuning result. The difference in the power that is divided among the tuning arms provides a progressive weighting to the adjustment effect of each tuning arm, which provides for a series of coarse through fine adjustments that enables a greater degree of resolution when tuning.

  • Patent number: 10618518
Abstract: A method and system for determining the pressure in a brake booster used to actuate a brake system having at least one main brake cylinder. The brake booster connected in a fluid-conducting manner by a non-return valve to an intake manifold of an internal combustion engine. A reduced pressure loss in the brake booster resulting from actuation of the main brake cylinder is balanced with the reduced pressure gain in the brake booster as a result of a pressure difference between the brake booster pressure and the intake manifold pressure. The reduced pressure gain in the brake booster is determined based on time, the air mass flow between the brake booster, and the intake manifold.

  • Patent number: 10444252
Abstract: A method for operating a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine, a service brake, a brake booster, a parking brake, a wheel-speed sensor and an inclination sensor is disclosed. The method including measuring the speed of motor vehicle using the wheel-speed sensor to create a speed signal. An inclination of the motor vehicle with respect to the direction the motor vehicle is sensed and an angle signal is created. The internal combustion engine is started when the speed measured is greater than zero and the inclination of the motor vehicle is greater than a predetermined value, such that the internal combustion engine creates a partial vacuum to power the brake booster to assist with the operation of the service brake.
